Shepherd's Pie? It'd been a while since Tex had eaten anything that didn't come out of tightly sealed pack. She bought groceries, but the workers were doing overtime at the shop and unless she got away from them for a while, she was going to seriously hit one over the head.

She pushed open the door and entered the shop. Her armour only just fitting through the door. She looked around and wondered if she was supposed to wait to be seated or not.

Both of Shane's eyebrows arch as she sees the martian from earlier in the day coming into the diner.

"Um... hi," she says cautiously. "You can -- you can just sit anywhere."

"Right," Tex looked from Shane to Deb (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomtownies/198900.html?thread=7124724). "Thanks," she added somewhat awkwardly before moving off to a booth. Her boots clunking on the floor and maybe she should consider not wearing armour as it's a lot easier to sit down at a table, but the thought had strangely enough not occured to her yet.

"Hi." Deb waves at the person in the armor. "Sit anywhere and I'll be right there."

Methos swung into Deb's and found a table. CJ said about five, so he didn't order but asked for a coffee.

Deb reappears with the coffee. "This all, or will you be ordering later?"

[She walks in wearing jeans and a grey t-shirt that says SECURITY. Spying Adam with a cup of coffee before him, she walks over, smiling]

Adam...good to see you.

Geoff walks into the Dive and smiles at Deb and Shane.

"It's nice to see customers in here, Deb. It seems quite a bit busier than it was before I left."

Stepping up to the booth, Shane recognizes the guy as one of the bartenders over at Spike's pub. She smiles a little as she pulls out her ticket pad. "Hi, I'm Shane. What can I get you?" She asks.

Tara comes in, looking tired but happy, and blushes the moment she sees Shane.

Shane sighs as she heads back up to the counter, lips pursed into a hard, thin line. Sweetcheeks... god... She drops Sawyer's order off at the kitchen window and when she turns to start preparing his drink, she sees Tara as she comes in.

"Hey," she says quietly though warmly, looking slightly harried. "I'll be right with you."

Shane's phonecall...

In the midst of dropping off an order at one of her tables, Shane's cellphone starts ringing and buzzing in her pocket. Frowning to herself, she digs into her pocket and fishes the phone out as she steps away from the table. There's a brief conversation but it's obvious that whatever the person on the other end of the line is saying, it's important.

As soon as she hangs up, she goes over to Deb calmly and leans in close. "Deb, look, I'm so sorry, but I gotta go. A friend of mine called and she's in trouble," she whispers.
