After the toxin in Spike's pub is released, Zaphod marches off towards the Heart of Gold.

He doesn't want to live without two heads, and he doesn't want the people who stole his beloved head to live either. He looks for a payphone to call in a few favors, and have this entire town blown to smithereens.

((ooc: intervention would be keen! Or...maybe full-scale invasion. That could be a hoot!))

*after the Newspaper Crew meeting, Callisto wanders into the town to see what chaos is going on, she sees Zaphod exit the pub*

Normally, Zaphod would take the time to hit on the ridiculously good-looking blonde. But he had a head to get back. He had reached the point beyond freak-out, and a nice calm dementia had set it.

"Oh, I'm fine dear. Lovely of you to ask. You see, some rather rude people have stolen some of my body parts, and I'm having the town blown up by a few space pirates I know. It might be advantageous of you to go back to the school.”

“…And perhaps put on a jacket, as that outfit shows as bit too much cleavage than is befitting for a young woman."

*decides that while normally she's all for razing towns, this one being destroyed would make her more emo be unpleasant*

But if you blow up the town won't that destroy the stolen body parts? The thieves couldn't possibly have had time to escape very far.

Zaphod smiled kindly. "Oh, I'm hoping to die as well. Quite frankly, I'm not all that interested in living with only one head, and it would really satisfy my bloodlust if the thieves were to burn to the ground. You know how it goes."

But don't you see? If the thieves are still in town, you can catch them and retrieve your bodyparts.

"I suppose that makes sense. Yeah. But then again, the reattachment would be such a hassle, if it’s even possible"

Zaphod lets out a sigh that sounds as if he's deciding weather or not to supersize an extra value meal.

"Gee...You know, it's such a hassle. I think I'm just going to go ahead and blow up the town. But thanks for presenting me with some options. You have a lovely evening dear."
