"Hi handsome. What can I get you tonight?" Deb's in a pretty good mood tonight. "The usual?"

Can we just make that a standing order? If I could get it deleivered to my new office, that would be great, but if not, Ill come and pick it up each night around this time... If I dont show up, just feed it to whoever looks like they need a free meal...

"Sure. You want it to go tonight? I'll see if that little girl with the broom can make the deliveries every night."

She has the order ready to go in a matter of minutes. "You got a thermos for decaf?"

Shane steps inside the Dive, slipping off her blazer as she goes, leaving her in a green t-shirt, faded blue low-rider jeans and her black sneakers. She's moving as gracefully as always if a bit more slowly.

"Hey, Deb," she says quietly as she goes to stow her things (including a brown-paper wrapped package) in her usual drawer.

"Totally," Shane says as she grabs her ticket pad and pen and stuffs them into her back pocket.

"Can I get the steak and cherry pie?" She peers at the board. "What's a chess pie?"

"Hi honey. It's a brown sugar caramel custard with raisins and walnuts and cornmeal in it. Really good. ne fo my kids from Mississippi taught me how to make it."

Deb sets to getting the salisbury steak and the pie.

"Oh, so it looks like a chessboard!" Alanna sounds a bit relieved. "Sounds good."

[The Doctor, by himself, slides into a booth. He's still got the screenplays from class with him.]

Shane steps up to the booth, looking rather worn down but at the same time pleased to see him. "Hey, Doc," she says, smiling, and even that seems a little faded today.

Methos enters, then notices the Doctor. "Good evening, Doctor. I haven't had a chance to chat recently."

Tex enters the restaurant and takes a seat in one of the booths. Maybe she really should consider leaving the armour off for these things, but apparently it hasn't occured to her.

"Hi Tex. What can I bring you tonight?" Deb looks her over, squashed in the booth. "Would you be more comfortable at a table?"

Tex blinks and notices the tables. "I think you might be on to something. And I'll have the steak and chocolate pie."

Tara comes in, a little nervously. Though she's gotten pretty good about just taking a seat, today she waits for Deb's attention.

"Tara, sweetie. Have a seat or is it to go?"

"Hi Deb. Um, I made arrangements for a party tonight, at the Old Firm. Except they had to cancel. So I was wondering if we could move it here. Only it's about eight people... and," she lifts up a thermos "one of them has special dietary things and needs a... health drink."

She looks at Deb pleadingly. "Is that okay? I know I probably should have booked or something..."

Angelus came in, late, but not too late to miss the fun. He took in the crowd at Deb's, then made his way to Tara.

"Hey," he made a pointed show of checking his watch, as though the time influenced what he was about to say next, "teach."
