Walking through Town

Paige and Lily walk through the town, every so often Paige stops and looks back at the school.

"I'm not sure about this, I don't know what we should do. So many people have got caught up in this."

"And every one of them will be understanding when they realize it wasn't you," she reassures. "I don't mean to trivialize this or anything, but this isn't even the oddest thing that's happened around here by far!"

She smiles, "I'm not sure, Duce seemed pretty pissed at me, but I didn't want her getting hurt. and like I said Geoff's already nervous of my magic." She squeezes her hand, "It must be nice having someone who understands all that."

She looks around at all the shops, she was pretty sure she'd upset everyone inside them, so there weren't many places to go.

"Give her time - she'll come around. And put yourself in Geoff's place - he is from a time period where 'witches' were rumor and they were imprisoned or burned if there was a mere suspicion of witchcraft activities. Now, not only is he over 600 years from home, but he finds himself in love with someone who is something he didn't believe existed, who would have been treated terribly then, and he must come to grips with all of that."

Paige nods, "I know, I-I just it wasn't such an issue. I should never have cast that spell. I was so stupid"

"You made a mistake while trying to do what you thought was right. There's no shame in that, Paige."

She sighs and looks up at the stars, "He said he was gonna take me into space you know. I just have to figure out how to make things up to him."

Evil!Paige hears this why don't you just beg? she sneers at her

Paige looks at Lily suddenly scared, "Lily, I can here her, she's inside my head again!"

"There's still plenty of time for that." Lily squeezes her hand again.

"She's here now? But you're still in control? What is she saying? Don't believe a word of it, Paige - you know what's right and what's true."

Paige nods, "Yeah I'm still control, but she says I might as well beg him to come back. She alwys how pathetic I am for believing what Geoff said."

She swallows hard, "I think she might be right in some ways, I did totally lose it when he left and that's not really me!"

damn straight I'm right, he had you keeping house for him Evil!Paige laughs

Paige sighs, "We definitely can't go see Geoff now, she'll kill him.I just know it!"

She shakes her head, "there isn't any magic you could do is there?"

Lily turns and puts her hands on Paige's shoulders. Firmly, she says, "Paige - no. Listen to me. Think of what you had with Geoff. There were good and happy times. You were missing him when he left because he was... he is important to you! 'She' wants only to hurt you and destroy the good things you have here. You know the truth."

Lily shakes her head. "There is no spell I know of for this problem either. And I don't want to take a chance on making things any worse."

Paige nods "I know and everyone says he still loves me, I just need to stay strong."

She takes a deep breath nodding again, "Yeah I can do this!"
