Phales Book Shop, Saturday Evening [locked to Angela, Marty, and Parker (and Crowley, of course)]

Expecting a few friends to stop by for a quiet chat, Aziraphale hangs a CLOSED sign on the door of the shop and locks it.

[Crowley sits in the chair by the tea table. A steaming cup sits beside him as he reads Dan Brown's Angels and Demons, laughing. He waits for these people Aziraphale had told him would be in for a private visit]

After being greeted by Aziraphale, Angela nervously takes a seat. She smiles politely at Crowley.

"Hi. I'm Angela. Are you a friend of Mr. Phale's?"

Indeed, dear heart, I am. I'm Crowley, Aziraphale's oldest and dearest friend. And you would be...Angela. Yes?

Parker arrives a little late and out of breath, but quickly looks around to see if everyone else is here yet. "Blank's later than I am?"

Aziraphale smiles and motions Parker inside. "Mr. Blank hasn't arrived yet. Please come in, though, my dear."

Parker moves forward, a little wary, but nods respectfully. "Hello, Mr. Phale. I haven't seen you since Zombie Weekend. You look well."

[As she walks to the door, a man in a dark suit complete with vest and tie drops his cigarette and crushes it out. He reaches for the handle and hold the door for her]

Parker gives him a quick, hard glance, and moves past him, unsettled at finding someone she didn't expect here.

Marty unlocks the door to find Phale, Parker and Angela waiting for him. And someone else he didn't expect.

"Hey everyone. Sorry I took so long to get here."

"It looks like, um, we all got here," Angela says, sipping from her tea. "So... Mr. Phale, you said you had something to tell us?"

"Ah, yes, my dear. I do." He looks hesitantly toward the sounds still emanating from the kitchen. "We've found a way to ascertain the soul's location. It's exact location."

Angela raises her eyebrows. "Really. How does that work?"

[Crowley comes out the kitchen carrying a tray loaded with a pot of fresh tea, some cucumber sandwiches, and mushroom tarts. He places it down gently on the table and then stomps off in a right huff back into the kitchen.]

Marty looks a little guilty. With everything that's happened he forgot to tell Angela that he had talked with Phale.

"Uh... He kind of told me already. On Wednesday."

Angela flashes a guilty smile. "That's fine. We ... weren't exactly talking then. Anyhow, I'd rather hear it from him directly."

"Does this make what we have planned easier?" Parker asks, folding her hands. "Or more difficult?"

Aziraphale looks a bit nervous, and twines his fingers together in his lap. "What do you think, my dear?" he asks softly.

Angela shrugs. "I think ... I think you're some kind of very powerful being. I don't know what to call it, but I saw it when you came to rescue me from the zombies. I don't know what Crowley is, but if you've known him forever and he can get the soul easily ... I'm guessing he has some power, too."

"You kept the zombies away that weekend," Parker breaks in, frowning. "I don't know why you said you didn't, either."

Aziraphale lays his hand on Crowley's shoulder. "Shhh," he says very softly.

"I think we all know that you are not just a bookstore owner. And I doubt Crowley is either."

"Do you need to know anything else, sir?" Parker asked, reaching for her purse. "I'll be by sometime this week, if that's okay, to look at your collection...."

Angela is also preparing to go.

"Thank you for your help, Mr. Phale," she says, pointedly ignoring Crowley.

He smiles and shows her to the door.
