Saturday Night at the Bada Bing

Miho sits in her corner eating baklava. Becky tends bar. Assorted scantily clad females gyrate onstage. It's just another night at the Bada Bing.

Becky is in an unnaturally good mood. She's actually humming.

And...skipping.


As well as one can in stiletto boots, that is.

Miho eyes Becky for a moment, then comes over to the bar and grudgingly offers her baklava.

Becky happily takes some baklava.

"People are nice here," she says, smiling, before putting it in her mouth.

Miho tends to agree with Becky. She thinks back to the blue guy whose fur she put out, and wonders how he's doing.

Then she stuffs more baklava in her mouth. Focus on that instead.

Becky sighs.

"I met a nice poet man today," she says in a too-casual way.

Miho arches one eyebrow at Becky. She knows that tone. That's Gail's, "So, Dwight's in the other room," tone.

"He's very nice," she adds, keeping her tone entirely neutral. "Said he'd stop by sometime when I'm working."

She tries not to smile.

Well, they could certainly use the business. Miho sets another square of baklava on a bar napkin and pushes it toward the blue-eyed girl.

"Yum!" Becky says, cheerfully accepting it. "And he's writing me a poem. 'Bout jewelry."

Miho doesn't have much experience with romance. Mostly Dwight and Gail, and she's not sure if they count. Still, a man writing a poem for Becky the day they met seems a bit...quick.

Maybe they'll get paid.

"But he's totally just a friend. A friendy friend friend," Becky says, trying to make sure Miho knows that she absolutely doesn't like the poet in any way but a platonic one.

Miho rolls her eyes, the expression on her face saying, Oh, this is just perfect. Then she gives Becky the, I believe you face, the one that occasionally kept Gail from throwing things at her back in Sin City.

"That's right," Becky says, nodding. "Just a friend. He kept calling me 'my lady', and he kissed my hand. I think he's weird."

Her cheeks may be a slightly darker gray. Maybe.

Miho sighs. Clearly, she is not going to have to cut anybody just yet. But this poet had better watch his step around her...friend, yes, if he doesn't want to end up sliced.

[ooc- *snort* Please. For reasons I suppose are obvious *snicker*, the brothers are usually avoided for interactions. So not to worry. Geoff can woo uninterrupted. Unless an interaction is wanted, they'll keep their distance from here on out.]
