Sunday -- the Emporium is open

Michael goes ahead and flips the sign to "open" as he enters, but he's more concerned about what's happened to Paige as he and Lily help Paige inside. He tosses a blanket over the worn sofa in the back room so they can settle Paige in to rest.

Me too. *takes a couple of bottles from the mini-fridge, offering one to Lily and one to Paige* Water?

*Paige takes the water and sips it* Thank you, *she bites her lip* Someone should tell Geoff, tell him it wasn't me that hurt him

*she bursts into tears* Did one of you pick up my bag I need something?

"I have it," Lily says, handing it over.

"Thanks" she wipes her eyes and pulls out a book selected poems of Geoffrey Chaucer "I could look at it until now, it bought her out."

She turns the book over and looks at the drawing of Geoff gently running her fingers over it, "do you think he'll understand?"

"I really do," she says, reaching out to squeeze Paige's shoulder.

"He's gonna think it'll happen again though" she reaches out for Lily "I really hurt him"

Do you want me to call Geoff? I'm sure he's worried about you. Maybe he'll come over to see you.

*Paige nods looking at her book* If he won't come just tell him I still love him ok? And that none of this is his fault.

*Michael nods and squeezes Paige's shoulder* I'll go call him now. *goes into front of the store to place the call*

*returns from front of store* I left him a message. (http://www.livejournal.com/users/geoff_chaucer/382.html?thread=144254#t144254) Hopefully he'll get it soon. *kneels next to Paige and looks at her with genuine concern* Would you like some tea? Something to eat? I'd be happy to run upstairs and make you something.

Lily takes the water. "Thanks."

She sits down on the edge of the couch next to Paige. "Are you feeling alright, Paige?"

She shakes her head, "Not really, she-she did things with my body. She hurt people, she hurt Geoff and" she lowers her voice so only Lily can hear "him" she gestures towards Saywer

"Have you told him what was happening?" Lily whispers.

"I tried but she wouldn't let me." she sighs, "Am I still ok to move in to your dorm room? I really can't be alone right now."

Sawyer settles in the back of the room, watching Paige interact with everyone. He still has no idea what happened but would rather not want Mikey-boys Mama see him if she showed up, he knows she'd try and kick his ass. Shuffling over he, takes a seat away from the group; too into the major headache he has right now.

*silently, Michael takes another bottle of water and offers it to Sawyer*

Taking the water, Sawyer offers a nod of thanks as he downs it; he's hoping the cool water will take away the headache.

Paige looks over at him from couch "are you ok Sawyer?"

"Just a headache is all." he says with a groan, resting his head in his hands he massages his temples. Not really coherent with those about him at the moment but hearing Paige's voice boomed into his brain. Owie.

"I'm sorry" she says again, she has no idea what to do, she'd have explain everything at some point, she didn't want to hurt him but she wasn't going to just get over Geoff like that not with everyone saying he still loved her, she had to cling to that and deal with the whole Sawyer thing afterwards

Quistis nodded. "Um...yes. I'm just looking for a few new shirts... and do you have pet food? I have a cat." She smiled slightly.

All the clothing is on the right-hand side of the store over there, and the cat food is on... *Michael stood on his toes and looked at the aisles* Aisle 6. *smiles*
