The Emporium is Open -- Monday

There's a little bit of a spring in Michael's step as he flips over the "open" sign, and for the first time in a while he's actually smiling. Another glorious day in Fandom Town. A variety of noises which sound very much like furniture being moved are coming from the back room.

"What the hell are you doing back there?"

Ben appears in the doorframe. "I thought a little feng shui might help the room back here. Get the right energies going. Especially if I'm going to use this room to write." Dusting his hands, he turns to go back to work on the room.

Michael shakes his head, but he's still smiling. It's good to have his husband home.

Paige walks in early afternoon, looking pretty rough

"Hey Michael," she says forcing a smile, "I thought I'd just come tell you I'm a bit better today."

Hey, Paige. *smiles warmly* I was going to call to see how you were, but it's been a little nuts here. *gives her a serious look* Are you really feeling better, or are you just saying that so I don't worry?

No I'm feeling better, they gave me an IV at the clinic and I stayed at Lily's, I-I've just not been sleeping. I thought Geoff might have called to check I was ok, *she looks at the floor* he didn't

He will. I'm sure he was just busy. *smiles* Or he was having problems getting the messages off his phone. He does seem to be a little...technologically challenged.

Ben hears Michael say "Paige," and he comes toward the front of the store. He doesn't say anything, but his expression isn't very happy.

Paige looks up at she Ben, she bites her lip looking worried, "It wasn't me Ben! I'm sorry," she blurts out before bursting into tears

Ben's too nice of a person to stay mad at a teenaged girl dissolved in guilty tears. He comes over and pats her shoulder. "It's okay," he says gently. "We're working things out. No lasting harm done."

[ooc- OH what wonderful timing we have. In the interest of keeping angst to a minimum and respect the players, it's up to Paige if she is still there when the brothers walk in.]

Decided to take a quick break from hassling people enjoying the day, the brothers head over to pick up their order. They can't do any more work on the bikes until they have it and so, pulling up in front of the store, the three brothers activate and alarm their bikes and stride into the store.

Immediately, they break off and fan out to see if there is anything else they need while there, while Loz heads to the counter, receipt in hand.

*tight nod* Good morning. *hefts a couple of boxes onto the counter* There are the items you ordered.

Loz goes through the boxes to make sure everything is there and they were correct. He nodded and leaned on the counter. "Now we have a specialty item to discuss with you."

Tha Cat dances into the store, getting momentarily distracted by his reflection in the window, "damn I look good!"

He goes over to the counter and looks around for things to make his with his spray bottle

*eyes the spray bottle suspiciously, but as this is Fandom Town, Michael really isn't surprised by anything anymore*

Cat grins and contines to dance for a while, "hey buddy! I need fabric, I just openned up a nice clothing store and I'm out of lame, and sequins and I need some big silver button."

He thinks for a few moments and strokes the zebra print on his lapel "and I need animal print fabric. Do you have that does it need to be ordered?"

While waiting for the answer he pulls a small mirror from his pocket and starts to preen

Aayla walks in and begins looking around, impressed by the variety and wide selection of things available here. Hoping that she'll find what she's looking for, she searches for the owner or an employee.

Anders comes in between classes and wanders around humming to himself as he picks up more bread, some milk and jelly and corn syrup, a coffeemaker, and some coffee.

"Hi," he says brightly as he brings the stuff up to the counter. "I have a weird question for you today!"

"The weird question of the day," says Anders, placing both hands on the counter and grinning cheekily, "doesn't have to be asked before you start ringing me up, and is this. You know those weird little game cubes? With the different colored faces you can rotate and match up or something? Are those really just game cubes, or part of some secret evil plot?"

Cameron enters the Emporium, he doesn't seem to be interested in buying anything as he moves along the isles scanning it for other customers. Not finding Vala, he leaves again.
