Blood Gulch Arms - Wednesday (NFB)

A truck drives up to Blood Gulch Arms before opening time. Tex is already waiting outside. She has a short argument with the driver about his lateness before she finally signs the form and watches them unload the boxes. Getting tired of waiting, Tex jumps into the truck herself and unloads the crates with ammo which she stores in the supply room.

As the truck drives off again, Tex flips the sign on the door to 'open' and a bit later there's a sign stuck against the window of the door:

Special offer: gas mask and goggles
Price: $46
Students: $37

((Shop lay out and supplies can be found here. I'll make a seperate supply list once I'm feeling less lazy.))

Marty walks into the shop.

"Hey Tex. Got your message. I sent out an e-mail to the student body yesterday regarding the gas masks so hopefully people will take advantage of the offer."

Marty picks up the carton.

"Thanks Tex. I appreciate the custom order. I assume you have masks on hand in case anybody needs them."

Marty mulls that over for a few seconds. "I'll keep that in mind. If I run into any worried students, I'll send them your way for the gas masks. Thanks again."

Marty waves as he walks out the door with the carton.

Pulling up outside, Loz and Kadaj wait outside while Yazoo entered Tex's place. He had a question and right now, she was the only one who might have the answer.

[ooc- And the mun wonders how many more times the word 'outside' can be squeezed into the poses.]

"Tex," Yazoo nodded in greeting. When he got to the counter, he leaned on it. "I have a question for you. Can you order gun parts?"

[identity profile] ac-brothers.livejournal.com 2005-10-26 04:36 pm (UTC)(link)
That brought a smile. Yazoo had seen pictures of these tanks, they were pretty impressive. "I've got a Walther P1 I'm modifying and I need some parts for it. Standard 9mm, I can machine myself."

He unfolded a piece of paper and slid it across to her with a list of what he would need.

[ooc- Feel free to improvise on price. You'll notice how I conveniently left it vague. I can come up with a list if you like/need.]

"Good." Yazoo reached into his leathers and pulled out money. "How much do you want upfront?"

[identity profile] ac-brothers.livejournal.com 2005-10-26 05:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Yazoo's eyebrow arched and he looked toward the door. "I saw that. Expecting problems?" He counted out the money and placed it on the counter between them.

"A student," Yazoo repeated. "These students around here are," he stopped because he didn't have a word for it.

Privacy, that was something he hadn't considered before. Yazoo pursed his lips. "Not private. The owner wanted some modernizations done to it. Sticking slides," he shrugged.

Something to consider for future dealings, however.

Shaking his head, Yazoo pushed up from the counter and headed to the door. "Talk to you later."
