Chaucer's, Thursday [locked to [livejournal.com profile] oatmanspatient]

Both the front door and the alley entrance are unlocked, although Geoff himself doesn't appear to be anywhere in sight.

Marty stumbles into Geoff's apartment. He looks like he's been running and is breathing heavily.

"After me! After me! Coming 'round the mountain! Popcorn!"

Geoff looks up the table, where he appears to be thumbing through a book on the British peerage. "Marty! What's going on?"

"He's coming around the mountain. Blowing my fucking head off! Blowing my fucking head off. Popcorn..." Marty says weakly as he slumps against the wall.

Geoff jumps up from his chair and catches hold of Marty. "Who? Who's coming, Marty? What's wrong?" Holding the young man upright, Geoff steers him into the bedroom, letting Marty collapse onto the bed and checking him for injuries.

Marty's eyes roll up into his head.

"Grosssssss-er" Marty says as he passes out.

What the hell? Geoff maneuvers his friend into the bed as best he can, removing his shoes and pulling a blanket over him. He doesn't seem injured, just...apparently very drunk, so Geoff quietly returns to the other room, leaving the door open so he can hear if Marty wakes up. If he isn't able to explain what's going on in the morning, Geoff figures he'll call Shane or CJ for help and get him over to the clinic.
