Outside the Kwik Stop, Thursday Afternoon
Silent Bob was alone. Jay had headed back to Jersey for the week; Marty's interrogation scaring the bejeesus out of the guy. Of course, Bob's threatening his pathetic, no good, low down life might have had something to do with it. Or maybe not.
It didn't really matter. Bob leaned against the wall of the Kwik Stop, smoking a cigarette, and hoping no one who wanted to kick his ass showed up.

To Paige's question he shook his head, then took a drag of his cigarette. He pulls out the pack and offers one to her.

He leans back, closing his eyes and lets the smoke dribble out of the side of his mouth.

"thanks, so can you like write stuff down? Only I don't even know you're name, I guess that's why the jackass is normally around huh?"

After a moment, he decides he might as well introduce himself at least. "Bob." He says just the one word, and doesn't sound inclined to say much more.

"I'm Paige," she looks a little worried and waits to see if he's heard any of the rumors about her, if he walks away she'll know

"words are very unnecessary, very can only do harm," she laughs a little "I guess Martin Gore knew what he was talking about then, I mean I know I'd not be like this if Geoff wasn't so good with words."
She sighs they can do harm she repeats to herself

though Jay would totally go for that; George is hot for a dead girl!but for George to beat up on. 'Cause he so deserves it. And George might be placated by knowing that Marty scared the piss out of Jay (http://www.livejournal.com/users/oatmanspatient/10138.html).))no subject
BTW, sorry about the beta. I had people in from out of town over the weekend, so that was shot. And then I thought I'd have time to get to it at the beginning of the week, but alas, I did not. I liked the story very much, too! Please keep me in mind in the future!))

Pak'Mara. Right.
"So, looking forward to the visitors this weekend?" she asks casually, the quest for spoo momentarily abandoned. "Should be an interesting time here in town."

He shakes himself out that train of thought and looks back at Ivanova. He makes some vague motions toward his head, and for the first time tonight wishes Jay were here. He mimes trick or treating, and then looks questioning again.

[[Is it harder to write Bob or decipher him? *grin*]]
no subject
Because Bob is totally not turned on by Ivanova in a Wonder Woman costume. Oh no. Nerves of STEEL.[[Seeing as I've never had to decipher him, I'd say write. ^_^ And sorry about the lag...there may have been alcohol involved.]]
