Nothing surprised the three such that anyone could tell. Spike had mentioned hiring a new bartender that could open regularly and it was fairly obvious this was the one. Smoothly, the went to the end of the bar to watch the Pub.
Loz watched the big furry...whatever. He seemed to move with grace that was deceptive if he had been judged by his appearance. This one...was not one Loz would willing go up against unarmed.
Chewbacca keeps an eye on the three newcomers. At the question, he shakes his head amiably and gestures to the rather empty pub. Just a few townsfolk at tables having a quick beer before going home.
Nodding Kadaj leaned back on his stool and looked around. "We'll stay for a while." Loz grabbed Yazoo and moved to a table in the corner to wait for Kadaj.
"Oh, I'm not staying or ordering anything. I've seen you around town with Han Solo. You see, I have this assignment for Music class and I was wondering if you would mind speaking into this recording device. It'll record your voice for use in the project. Do you mind saying a few words for me?" Jonathan smiles, looking up hopefully with his big blue eyes.
He leans toward the recorder and delivers a series of growls, barks and howls. If any could translate, they would have heard a common line of Wookiee poetry.
"You're awesome man, thanks!" Jonathan says, hitting stop. "I'm Jonathan by the way, Jonathan Crane, it's been a pleasure meeting you," Jonathan holds his hand out.
Barbossa walked into the pub, a camera in his pocket.
He took a moment to stare at the...well, he didn't exactly have a word for what was behind the bar. But it was wearing a green apron, so he assumed it was the bartender.
Barbossa laughed. "Oh, I be not here fer a drink. It's fer a class project, ye see." He pulled out the camera. "I need to take a picture of a pina colada."
Barbossa sighed. "Perhaps we can come t'an accord. Kin ye mix one without the alcohol in it? I be willin' to pay fer it."
His crewmates would laugh themselves sick to see him in a pub and being asked to prove himself old enough to drink. Rum was safer than water where he came from.
Chewbacca nods gravely and sets to immediate work. The blender, the glass, the skewered garnishes and lastly the tiny paper parasol which his long nimble fingers dropped in like a magician dropping flash powder for an escape.
Barbossa dug into his pockets for money to pay for the drink. He slapped it down onto the bar, then began messing with the camera.
He took five photographs of the drink from various angles, then sat down and drank it. He tucked the umbrella behind his ear and headed back to campus.

"Hello! You must be the new bartender," he called to the large creature he'd seen around town with Solo.

He heard there might be karaoke tonight.
