Wolfram and Hart, Friday

A ringing phone was the first thing Lilah heard as she walked into the office that morning. Because she was in hell, there was no voicemail. It kept ringing until she picked it up.

"Wolfram and Hart, Lilah Morgan speaking."

"Yes, sir."

"No, I was unaware of that, sir."

"I understand that, sir, but I don't think that would be a good..."

"She tried to eat me, sir. And most of the LA office."

"Yes, I know she didn't succeed, but it's still the principle of the..."

"No, it's not a problem, sir. Of course. Thank you."

She hung up the phone. Damn it. Stupid Senior Partners and their needing to have their fingers directly inside the raging pulse of the next apocalypse. Looked like Darla was going to be her new legal intern, whether she wanted it or not.

Was it too early to head out for a drink?

Deciding it would be a perfect day to get and meet some of his new neighbors, Aziraphale walks into the law office, humming under his breath (a discerning listener might recognize it as Heaven For Everyone, but only if they listened very closely).

[ooc: Because, really, I can't think of any other way to get them to interact. I mean, what would Phale do with a lawyer? :)]

"Good day!" Aziraphale says cheerily. He takes in the young woman's appearance, noting that she seems to have been doing some cleaning of some sort. "I beg your pardon, my dear. I do hope I'm not interrupting you."

He also notes that she appears to be deceased, but is too polite to mention it.

"Mr. Phale. I run the rare book shop." He holds out a hand in greeting. "I'm pleased to meet you, Miss Morgan."

"Rare books and first editions, mostly. Although, I have been taking a number of special orders lately mostly to keep the little buggers from making off with my entire inventory." He smiles. "You ought to stop by sometime, my dear, for a browse and some tea."

"Ah, some, yes. Although I prefer not to sell them, really. I, ah, am really more of a collector. But, if there were something you were interested in, I may be able to place an order."
