Tex opens the shop at 9:00. She's in a good mood, which might be a good or a bad thing depending on who you are. The sign is still up:

The brothers stopped and read the sign in the front before walking in. Loz muttered under his breath. "First Homecoming and now Parents Weekend."

Kadaj smirked and with a wave of his hand indicated where to stand while Yazoo conducted his business.

Yazoo walked to the counter and nodded to Tex. "Got your message."

Tex bent down and retrieved a box from under the counter. She put it on between her and Yazoo and opened it for him to check it out. "I believe these are what you wanted."

Digging around in the box, Yazoo picked the items out to make sure they were what he needed, now that he could visually inspect them.

After he was done, he nodded and put them all back in the box. "Everything's here. How much?"

"You've already paid 70 dollars, the full order turned out to be $165 so that leaves $95," she replied.

Loz stepped forward pulling the money out. Handing $100 to Yazoo, he picked up the box and walked back to wait at the door for Yazoo to finish.

When Yazoo finished the modifications, the gun was going to be worth three times what he paid for in parts. Not a bad deal. The money was promptly handed over to Tex with a small smile. "Thanks."

Tex' attention was on Loz as he picked up the box, she hadn't spoken to the other brothers up until now but there was some resemblance between them.

When Yazoo spoke, she quickly accepted the money and pulled a five dollar bill out of the drawer. She held it out to Yazoo. "Good doing business with you. Can I ask you something about your gunblade?"

Yazoo tucked the change away and nodded. "Sure."

"Are they common weapons in your world?" Tex asked.

Frowning, Yazoo had to think about it. "Not really. They're pretty rare."

"But not impossible to get a hand on?" Tex asked carefully, it was clear that she was interested in the weapons.

"No. Not impossible, if we could get back home," Yazoo said with a small smile. "I can modify. This world also has access to gunblades of a similar sort."

Tex grinned and leaned forward on the counter, tilting her head. "So in theory, what would you need to modify a gunblade?"

Yazoo leaned forward as well. "In theory, the base, which should be easy to get. We have the machining equipment at our place, access to the right parts, time...money...that is, if a quality piece was desired."

"Naturally," Tex studied him more closely. "So let's say I find a base, how much time and money would it take you?"

His expression became thoughtful. "It would depend if it's to fire standard rounds or energy blasts," Yazoo eventually said. "Energy would require more work."

"Energy, I have plenty of standard weapons. I'm sure we can find a compensation for the extra work."

Yazoo fell silent again, his lip caught in his teeth while he went through the engineering problems. He turned to look at Loz.

Giving Yazoo a shrug, he nodded. "We're building from scratch."

"Yes," Yazoo said. Turning back to Tex, Yazoo spread his hands. "$400 to start, more depending on circumstances."

Tex straightened up and nodded, it was clear from her tone that she was pleased. "Deal. Can you get a hold of a base or should I look out for one?"

"I'll look and give you options to pick from," Yazoo said. He straightened as well and smiled. Tex was going to be an interesting person to work with.

"Do you want the 400 now or when you get the base?" Tex asked.

Yazoo shook his head. "When I get the base. I'll know more then."

"Alright, you know where to find me when you do." Tex said with a smile, her mood was definitely improving with some serious business - that didn't include those gas masks - to look forward to.

Kadaj moved out of the shop, followed by Loz and they started their bikes.

Pushing away from the counter, Yazoo gave half a wave. "I'll be in touch."

"Alright. Have fun with the gun," Tex smirked and nodded at Yazoo.
