Spike's Pub Is Open Early

It was early. Too early considering how late it was when they finally got to sleep, only to turn around and come back. The brothers set up and cleaned the place getting it ready for the early opening.

[OOC: Whee! I have a stalker! *g* Honestly, don't feel self-conscious about jumping in on a post. I've had times when I was RPing four different threads in the same post at Phale's shop. Some days, nobody. Other days, the post goes up and the whole town invades (and makes me feel loved). I'll send Geoff by in a minute, unless you'd rather talk to Phale, 'cause right now neither is doing much of anything. I'll have to slow-post a bit myself, til later this evening. Oh and btw - Phale? Totally ready to adopt Yazoo now as one of his little 'gang'. :)]

Geoff wanders into the pub in the early evening. He's carrying a couple of books tucked under his arm, the quill sticking out of one. Spotting the brothers, he waves and steps up to the bar.

With a nod, Kadaj drew Geoff a beer and placed it on the bar in front of where he stood. "Evening," he said softly.

Taking up the beer, Geoff asks "Do you serve anything to eat here? I just came from the school and I've heard rumors about their cafeteria." He grins. "And I can't cook for love nor money."

Paige looks over at Geoff, "you know I'm getting better if you're ever desperate."

She bites her lip, why the hell did I just say that?

Kadaj pointed to the table along one wall. "That's it. Sandwiches and chips. No kitchen here. You can call for delivery..."

Paige walks in looking strangely happy, she went over to the bar not even noticing Geoff.

"So the rules have changed right? I can't get vodka any more?"

Yazoo shrugged and nodded at Paige when she came in. "The rules have changed."

Paige sighs, "I have id, but I'm guessing that's not gonna fly? So erm a diet coke I guess."

Pulling down a glass, he filled it with ice and topped it off with diet coke. With a straw, he slid it over in front of her. "It doesn't bother me but I'm not pissing Spike off."

Ben comes into Spike's, this time knowing what -- or, really, who -- to expect. A drink wasn't his goal this time, but he'd take that too. He wanted to talk to Yazoo, find out who this person was. Ben might have forgiven Michael, but it didn't stem his morbid curiosity.

Seeing Geoff and Paige at the bar, he opts for a table off to the side.

Seeing Ben come in and take a table, Kadaj gestured to Yazoo and took Yazoo's spot at the bar.

He strolled over to Ben's table. The thought of what the man was doing back did cross him mind but he wasn't going to ask. Yet. "Get you something?"

"Beer, please. Tap." He frowned, but if he was going to ask, he had to say it. "And then a minute or two of your time, if you're not too busy."

Yazoo's eyebrows rose and the tilted his head to indicate they weren't terribly busy. "Be right back."

He walked to the bar and had Kadaj pull the beer, taking it back to Ben and setting it down in front of him. Pulling up another chair, he slid into it on the other side of the table and smiled serenely.

Widow Twanky wanders into Spike's and sits primly at the bar.

Loz saw someone who really looked like they belonged in the church or something sit down to the bar. He nudged Kadaj toward her and took a spot behind the bar.

Wiping his hands, Kadaj went over to her and gave her a small smile. "Evening. What will you have?"

"Good evening, young man" Twanky smiles back. "I would like to order a Rum Fizz."

Logan walks into the Pub. He's feeling restless. He doesn't like some of the things that Marie has told him and he's not sure why.

He takes a seat at the bar and waits to be served.

Fresh from her meeting with Amanda, Beka felt pretty solid. She'd need to see Illyana and Buffy both later, but there was time for a drink or two at least, and maybe she'd stop by the mixer.

She noticed Logan sitting at the bar and wondered if it was worth trying to engage him in conversation. Shrugging to herself, she gave him a polite nod and took a seat at the bar.

Logan glanced up and noticed the blonde from the night before. She's trying to pull off the innocent school girl look tonight, but she's still too sexy for it to work.

"You old enough to be in here, kid?"

Yazoo saw the newcomers and tapped on Kadaj before moving toward one. "Hey. You look like you need a drink," he said to the man.
