Rory and Logan walk up to 'Le Bistro Aléatoire' (Typical Grandma, Rory snorts inwardly) hand-in-hand and looking slightly flushed.

"Hi, hi," Rory says, grinning at the people already assembled there. "Um. Sorry if we're late. Morning, everyone."

Angela looks up from the cup of coffee she is sipping at a table that is eerily quiet, given the people around it. She smiles. "Hi Rory, Logan."

Danielle elbows Angela. "Is the boy Logan? He is so cute."

Angela hisses in her sister's ear. "Danielle. Yes, the boy is Logan,. The girl is Rory. And aren't you in love with Brian Krakow?"

"Are you going to introduce us to your friends, or are we going to have to make name tags, Angela?"

"Sorry, mom."

Angela waves a hand at each person around the table. "The girl with dark hair is Rory Gilmore. The guy with her is Logan Echolls. My friend Marty is the tall guy who just came in -- I think you met him at check-in."

Rory waves. "Nice to meet you, Mrs. Chase."

She glances at the younger girl. "And you must be Angela's little sister. Hi."

"I'm sorry," Angela apologizes. "I suck at introductions. Um, Rory, Logan, Marty, Mrs. Gilmore, this is my mom, Patty Chase, and my sister, Danielle."

"Hi. I'm Danielle. I'm not THAT little."

Danielle looks at the menu. "They have, like, no normal food here."

Rory smiles. "Yeah, I know."

She holds up her menu so the adults can't see her face, and whispers, "My grandma chose it," making a face.

"Hi Mrs. Chase. How are you today?" Marty says in his best I'm-a-nice-guy-voice which sounds nothing like an Eddie-Haskell-talking-to-Mrs-Cleaver voice.

Patty turns to Rory and Logan and smiles, "Nice to meet you both," before turning her attention to Marty. "Marty, we've heard... about you. It's good to finally be able to get to know each other better, don't you think?"

Marty shoots a look over at Angela as if to say "How much does she know exactly?" but quickly covers it with a smile.

"Absolutely. I wish we had more time to chat the other night, but registration was very busy. Angela was telling me that you run a print shot of some kind?"

Angela nods, warily. "She took over my grandpa's business. She's, like, really really good at it."

"Mom, Marty is our school security officer."

Logan winks at Danielle. "Nice to meet you," he says to the Chase family. "Marty! Glad you could make it."

"Yeah sorry, I'm late. I had a little issue with... um Camilla." he coughs realizing that maybe a muppet!chicken isn't the best thing to bring up.

"I ran into your sister at registration the other night. What's the deal with all those cameras following her around?"

"It's nice to meet you, too," Danielle says. She looks around the restaurant. "So do you, like, come here a lot?"

Marty walks in a little late and smiles at everyone. "Hi everyone. Sorry I'm late."

"Mr. Blank," Emily gives him a serpentine smile from where she is seated next to Logan and Rory. "How wonderful for you to join us. Feeling better today, I take it?"

Angela shoots raised eyebrows at Marty, but decides not to ask.

Marty blinks a few times at the comment. "Well I do feel fine, thank you Mrs. Gilmore. How has your visit been so far?"

"Very... enlightening." Emily smirks. "Although I'm sure my weekend was not nearly as entertaining your own. This town really does love to celebrate Halloween though; I've seen so many fantastic costumes."

"Oh yes. Everyone really gets into the spirit of Halloween around here. I assume you've seen our Criminal Justice professor in his big blue suit? He's such a card."
