Red is Open and In Today
Sitting behind the counter on the stool, Red was very quiet and very still and looking quite bleary-eyed. His groucho glasses sat on the corner.
Even his fur looked droopy.
((ooc: will be a bit slow today, but patience please, I can play.))

Pulling his appointment book over, he shook his head. "I take that back. This afternoon's a wash. Meeting with the Public Works department. How's tomorrow look for you?"
((ooc: and a RL meeting at 1 Eastern that tends to take all frakkin' day))

"Good morning, sir." she says as she walks to the counter. Seeing his fatigued state, her brow furrows with concern. "Are you alright?"

Looking around, she notices the groucho glasses. This sparks her to ask a question that's been bugging her lately. "I've seen people dressing strangely lately. Do you know what's going on?"

"I was wondering if you had any plans for my necklace?"

"Locket design, open in the center to show the majority of the stone and still the face holding it in place at the ends." He looked up and grinned. "A quick flick of the thumb, the face opens and the stone pops out."

"I need a quick clarification on a law here, if you could help me..." she says. Even though it sounds like a complete change of subject, she has a purpose as usual.

Leaning on the counter, he cocked his head at her. "For the moment, our town has been very good about weapons usage, or better, the lack of usage and at the time doesn't pose a threat to the peace of the town and the safety of the residents. Mature dealings have allowed its residents to walk armed if they so choose or not as they so choose and I don't see this changing as long as responsibile weapons ownership and use continues. This also applies to magical abilities."

Thinking, she continues. "I had been acting under the presumption that I was unable to use my saber anywhere, not just at the hotel. Mr. Donovan's adversion to its use at the hotel and the weapons ban at the school had made me think that it applied to all other places... However, with this new knowledge, I still may be able to keep my saber, which uses the crystal, with me. It would be a waste if I had you make something I didn't need to use... so I'm going to hold off on placing the order for now. As soon as I know what's going on with the hotel rules, I'll return with a decision."
She looks down at the sketches once more. A shame that Red had to go through the trouble of making sketches that she may not use...

He has two silver hair clasps in hand. One is a simple pattern of lines, the other is more ornate, possibly tribal.

He looks at some of the piercing items, torn between half wanting and half scared, and leaves.
