Fred was staring at it, every now and then sipping her coffee and scratching some words onto her paper.

Fred nods. Her coffee had gone cold. "Want a refill or are you good?"

He shrugs a bit lazily, "Sure." he messes with the cold mug infront of him.

Fred orders a double tall latte and brings Sawyer back his coffee mug fresh and topped off. Sitting down Fred empty's two packs of sugar into it before even sipping it. "So back to this girl of yours. How were you thinking of telling her?"

"Well, I was actually thinking of telling her at the Halloween Ball on the Veranda but I hesitated like a little bitch." he grimaces at himself, he was such an idiot.

"Why did you hesitate?" Fred said taking a long drink of her coffee.

Another doubtful shrug over takes his shoulders, "Ain't to keen on the whole 'emotions' deal. Paige and I have an open relationship but as much as I like that, I fear I won't like it soon." he gulps his coffee, feeling the buzz of caffiene running through his veins.

Fred nodded. "Need to stake that claim. I see that. I feel you brother." Fred slaps down on his leg again. "You need to tell her how you feel."

"Another thing? She felt kind of..locked up with her ex Geoff Chaucer and I don't want her to feel, locked." he explains in a fumbled manner, if he became even more retarded with his speech she would think he was a dimwit.

Fred shook her head. "Man an ex is the worst thing to be compared to. You don't want that man. Your to good for that." Fred slapped his leg again. "Unless you love her and she does not compare you to her ex, man." Shakes head "You don't wanna bark up that tree with an ex around." Fred takes another long draw off the coffee. "Is she doing that to you?"

Paige walks in during her break from work and see Sawyer, goes over smiling

"hey you!"

He shrugs a tiny bit, "In her mind, I guess she is, comparing my every move to her poet" --he jumps everytime she slaps his leg-- "I know I can be a jackass, ain't tryin' to say I'm not but..emotions for me are kind of..alienated." his eyes go wide for a moment when he hear's Paige's voice from behind.

He glances over at Fred for a moment.

Fred looks up and sees the girl approaching. She looks at Sawyer then Paige. "You must be Paige." Fred stands up almost spilling some of her coffee. "Hi, Fred, eh Winifred Burkle. Hi" She extends her hand to Paige.

Paige smiles "that's me, yeah. Nice to meet you Fred." She leans towards Sawyer "been talking about me?"

"Ofcourse, darlin'. In a good way, no doubt." he grins and kisses her cheek, pulling her onto his lap.

Fred watches all this with an amused look, she sits back down and adds some sugar to her coffee. "Sawyer here was just telling me about that halloween party last night weren't ya Sawyer." Fred nods at Paige, "Seemed like a real nice do."

Paige grins sliding an arm around him "yeah it was pretty fun, the house where it was held was amazing. I'm glad I went"

She turns to Sawyer "did you get my present yet?" she asks grinning

His face turns bright red, the mention of the present, "Er, yeah, darlin'. Wonderful, thankyou." he plants a thankyou kiss on her lips for a moment before glancing over at Fred, "You should've come Fred, the Ball was awesome."

Fred nods quickly taking a drink again. "Yeah well, you know I had a lot of work to do and well you know, didn't want to really go the party actually." Fred shakes her head "I- well I'll have to go next time but look at you two so cute together."

Paige looks slightly suprised by this for this for a moment then looks at Sawyer "thanks I guess we kinda do."

He cocked a brow suspiciously at Fred before looking up at her, "Ofcourse, sweetcheeks." he turns his gaze to Fred, "We actually matched, sickening huh?" he scrunches up his nose a bit.

Fred nodded "Thats ok though. Its fits nicely." Fred glanced at her watch. "Oh" She slaps her head quickly. "I have to go I am meeting Evie." With a hasty goodbye fred is off.

Paige smiles "it was kinda sicken though like James said. See you later."

She turns to face Sawyer, "just you and me now then huh?"

He's bewildered as he sees Fred rush off out of the Perk, she was giving him nice advice but now he was stuck with Paige, not really stuck per say. "I guess so.." he trails a bit, remembering what he was asking Fred. What a doofus.

Paige gives him a worried look and shifts on his lap "is something wrong? I can go get coffee at The Haven if you'd rather."

Paige looks away from him out of the window, she should really just get off his knee, but she doesn't really want to right now

Sawyer pats her legs lightly, "I'd rather walk in the park with you.." he says half-romantically, he figures the park would be a good spot to tell her....right?
