Sitting on the beach

Maia sat on one of the beach chairs. She had come here yesterday mornining with Phoebe and it was nice and relaxing. She pulled the blanket tighter around her, her drink getting cold next to her. Maia watched the waves. this is better then the fountain, its not exact. Maia kept starting at the waves until finally she saw before they happened where they were going to end up. She smiled a little at this, she had no idea if it was controlling her powers but it felt like it a little to her.

Lana wanders by on her way into town. "Hey, Maia, how are you?"

Maia turns in her blanket slowly. "Hey Lana." Maia watches the waves."Watch.." She said pointing to her left "Thats going to be a big on in a minute." Maia smiled when a huge wave crashed in. "How are you this morning?"

"That's amazing that you can know things like that." Lana smiles at Maia. "I'm good. A little tired. I was up kind of late last night, thinking about things."

Maia smiled. "Did it help you sort through things?"

"I don't know. I think maybe it brought up more questions. I've got class this afternoon, but maybe later we could get together and maybe you could help me sort some things out?"

Maia patted Lana's hand through her blanket. "Sure. I'll see you tonight then." She smiled warmly.
