Setting down his book, Aziraphale looks up and smiles at Maia. "Good day, my dear. Join me for tea?"

Maia beamed. "Yes and I brought you some (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomtownies/275053.html?thread=10853229#t10853229) presents (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomtownies/273759.html?thread=10823263#t10823263) " Maia pulled the packages out of her bag and laid them on the table for Aziraphale.

With a surprised but delighted expression, Aziraphale picks up one of the packages. "Presents, my dear? I...thank you. Whatever for?"

Thursday evening (6:30 or 7:00)

Kiki wanders in. She wasn't sure Mr. Aziraphale would be open, but it was always worth dropping by just to see and call "Hello!" over the shelves and stacks of books.

She's got a burgundy-colored scarf around her neck that she loosens as she enters the shop and places her broom neatly in the corner. She crosses immediately to the tea kettle and pours some for herself, and then turns to Aziraphale. "Would you like some, Mr. Aziraphale?" she offers.


[Will be around for a little while, anyway, but not reaaaaally long.]

"Thank you, my dear! It's a pleasure to see you. I hope you're doing well?"

Aziraphale sets down the book and smiles. "That's a lovely scarf."

"Thanks," Kiki smiles. "My mum made it for me. I'm doing fine - how are you?" She holds out a full teacup to him.



[I'm getting the notion that Aziraphale's entire diet consists of tea, biscuits, and butterscotch. Heh!]

He accepts the cup from Kiki and motions her toward Crowley's the other chair. "I'm doing very well, thank you, Kiki. It was a pleasure meeting your parents, by the way. I do hope Crowley didn't bother them too much."


[Tell me about it! Crowley did take him out for meatloaf the other day, but...yeah, it does seem so. Crowley-mun and I have decided that teatime at Phale's is chronofluid, otherwise that's all he'd be doing all day long!]

Tonks came in, bumping into a shelf that could have easily been avoided. "Ow," she muttered, rubbing her shoulder.

Aziraphale looks up at the sound. "Are you quite all right, my dear?"

"Oh! Yeah!" Tonks laughed weakly, bending down to pick up the books she knocked off. "I'm sorry; I'm such a klutz." She chuckled again, as if her awkward ways were a bit of a joke.

Quickly moving to help with the books, Aziraphale gives Tonks a reassuring smile. "Not at all, my dear. That shelf really is too close to the door." He sets the books on the counter and pours a cup of tea, offering it to her. "I do want to thank you for your assistance yesterday, by the way. My friend was quite pleased with the gift."

Chihaya peeks in the door. He decided to skip out of the party in study hall for Krycek since he doesn't really know him. Feeling like a fifth wheel was never fun either.

He has an idea for something he wanted to write and thought maybe Mr. Aziraphale would have a book on it.

Seeing Chihaya look in the door, Aziraphale smiles and waves him inside. "Please come in, Chihaya. Can I offer you some tea?"

There is a smile, brief and not quite reaching his eyes. "Thank you, Mr. Aziraphale. I promise I won't keep you long." He comes in the store and goes to set his backpack down on the floor by the chairs.

Sensing Chihaya's subdued mood, Aziraphale pours him tea and offers a biscuit. "You're not keeping from me anything, my dear. Stay as long as you like. Is there something I can help you with, or just tea?"

The bell rings gently as Aayla walks into the shop. After peering around for a little while, she sees Aziraphale and smiles. "Good evening, Mr. Phale." she says kindly. "How are you tonight?

Smiling as he sees Aayla enter the shop, Aziraphale nods a greeting. "Quite well, my dear. And you?"

"Adjusting to the new owners of the hotel, but doing fine." She looks around at the various books on the shelves. "You came by there last night, didn't you? Your aura is hard to miss. It's comforting to have some light displacing a bit of the darkness Mr. Crowley brings."

Aziraphale colors slightly, and clears his throat. "Erm, yes, I was there. For a tour."

He clears his throat again and adds, "Crowley told me he's quite looking forward to working with you, my dear. Keeping the Balance, he said."
