Phale's Rare Books, Sunday

The door is once again open, and the shop is filled with the inviting smell of pastries. Back in the reading lounge, Aziraphale sits curled up in corner of the big couch, reading a novel. Beside him, Crowley is lounging, stretched out with his feet up on the arm of the couch and his head resting on Aziraphale's thigh. He's reading a newspaper.

Standing as well, Aziraphale indicates the pile of books next to her. "Why don't you take one or two those with you, to borrow for your research? You can bring them back when you're finished, and get more."

"Sure," she smiled warmly, picking up a book - a different one that didn't look to be as intense as the earlier one. She would probably need to start off with something lighter, she reasoned to herself. "Thank you... for everything."

"My pleasure, my dear. Come by anytime you like, for books or for company."

"That means a lot to me." Her cheerful demeanor a bit restored, she gave a jaunty wave. "Have a good night," she said earnestly, as she left, book tucked protectively under her arm.
