In the Park, Tuesday Morning

It's been ages since Aziraphale had a chance to get out to the park, and he sighs happily as he settles onto a bench and pulls out a sack of day-old scones for the ducks.

[Happy to talk to anyone, but he's here to be oblivious about a ruckus about to occur at the shop, so kindly don't mention it to the poor fellow.]

[Bwa! Kiki was oblivious, too. Still, on with the fun!]

[Well, sure, if the park bench has the back to the street and is facing the duck pond...]

Aayla is in the park, practicing some low-impact forms (think almost tai-chi). A few objects hover around her until she senses Aziraphale's presence. The various things drop gently to the ground as Aayla comes to a stop and opens her eyes. She turns to where Aziraphale is sitting and bows slightly.
"Good Morning, Mr. Phale."

[identity profile] azurejedi.livejournal.com 2005-11-08 08:27 pm (UTC)(link)
"It's alright, sir. You didn't interrupt me." She looks affectionately at the ducks swarming to Aziraphale. "It is quite a pleasant morning. Nice enough to have me come outside to train a bit." She smiles and joins Aziraphale on the other side of the bench.

[identity profile] azurejedi.livejournal.com 2005-11-08 08:54 pm (UTC)(link)
She takes a scone, breaking it into small bits and tossing them to the eager ducks. Smiling a bit at the invitation to address him informally, she says, "If you wish... Aziraphale." The name comes strangely from her, but she tries to accomidate his wishes. "You'll have to forgive me if I am formal out of habit. I still call my old master by his title, and I have known him since childhood." She smiles friendlily. "I am honoured by the request, though." Breaking another piece of the scone, she holds it out in her hand. A somewhat brave duck waddles to her, snatches it from her hand and hurrily backs away, swallowing it only when at a 'safe distance'. She giggles at the animal's behaviour.

[identity profile] azurejedi.livejournal.com 2005-11-08 09:29 pm (UTC)(link)
"Ah, I see." she says, an expression of pleasant amusement on her blue face. Continuing to feed the ducks, she asks, "Are you still moving into the hotel? I haven't seen you or Mr. Crowley there nearly at all."

[identity profile] azurejedi.livejournal.com 2005-11-08 09:48 pm (UTC)(link)
"Hmmmm..." Aayla ponders this a little, trying one more time to coax the duck into coming closer. Taking a bigger piece of scone, she holds it out again, waiting for a brave enough member of the flock to approach her. Soon enough, one cautiously waddles up again and takes it from her, only to scurry away. It munches greedily at it, warding off other ducks who try to take it.
Aayla looks intrigued, amused, and confused all at once. "Strange creatures here..."

[identity profile] azurejedi.livejournal.com 2005-11-08 10:04 pm (UTC)(link)
"In general, I suppose... However, if it caught Mr. Crowley's eye it must be very..." She spots the 'unusual one' sitting away from the group near the lake. "... unusual." Not sure what to make of it, she absently tosses more bits to the normal ducks in front, keeping her eye on the other one.

[identity profile] azurejedi.livejournal.com 2005-11-09 12:08 am (UTC)(link)
Aayla gives a slightly nervous laugh. "No, I suppose not." She continues to feed bits of the scone to the ducks until she's left with no more. Brushing the crumbs off of her hands, she stands up and sighs. "Unfortunately, I should go back to the hotel and start my mid-day rounds."

aaaand Ed-mun tries again

Ed is in the park when he spots Aziraphale, he slowly approaches to see if he wants company.

Ed nods, and smiles, and walks to Aziraphales bench. "How are you?" he asks

((Yes, i guess. Ed is afraid of people he doesn't know, so assume he waited till she was gone))

"Oh uh, doing okay, i guess. I lost my gardening-teacher." Ed says, and sighs. Then he looks at the sack of scones. "Can i...could i feed something to the ducks...?"

Edward pins the scone to one of his scissors, and uses the others to cut of little pieces of scone to feed to the ducks.
"I don't actually know what happened. One day he was here, the next day he was gone. I was all very weird. He was really nice. He drank a lot of tea too, come to think of it"

((Your way of writing changes 0.o It confuzzles me. I mean the " versus [ things, or something))

Re:

"Yeah, i think you two would've gotten along. But i think he'll be back. You see, his gardens are here, so..." Ed says, and is quiet for a moment. Then he goes back to feeding ducks. "Have you been to the museum yet?"

((Oh, it's not a problem :) It was kinda amusing to see. The wrong login however...:P ))

Re:

"I haven't been there yet, either. But i should. Or i want to. I like art. Art is just like books, only...not in words" Ed ponders the concept. "A woman who does counseling? I thought only Jonathan Crane did that?"

((Ed-mun will comment as different chars just to get revenge :P))

"I think we should. That would be fun" Ed smiles at the thought. "Ooh, i gotta run, i got class in a minute" he says, "See you around" he says to Aziraphale, as he stands up and starts to walk away.

((Mun is off, so that's why Ed is leaving. They should go to the museum sometime, though :) ))

((come on a monday or wednesdat Paige works then, ooh send Crowley!))

[identity profile] the4thsister.livejournal.com 2005-11-09 01:17 am (UTC)(link)
((is it just plain wrong that I like the fact he called Paige 'my Paige' it is isn't it?))

[identity profile] the4thsister.livejournal.com 2005-11-09 01:23 am (UTC)(link)
((he makes me want to bring Evil!Paige back! *eg*))

[identity profile] the4thsister.livejournal.com 2005-11-09 01:30 am (UTC)(link)
((Ah yes but he wouldn't be as mean to Evil!Paige and she could flirt with him, cos that was so much fun *misses Crowley*))

[identity profile] kikidelivers.livejournal.com 2005-11-09 01:57 pm (UTC)(link)
[OOC: Crowley wanted this delivered to Aziraphale "after he was gone." I'm not exactly sure when that is during the day, but I figure he would have left sometime during the day, and Kiki would have gone out, locked the shop, and found Aziraphale to make the delivery - hence why I'm so late in posting this - didn't want to interrupt the plot and all.]

Sometime later, Kiki comes out of the shop.

She's very obviously been crying, and she stops beside Aziraphale and holds out an envelope that is crinkled from being clutched so tightly in her hand. The writing on it is easily recognizable as Crowley's.

"He told me," she whispered, "to give this to you after he was gone."

[identity profile] kikidelivers.livejournal.com 2005-11-09 02:12 pm (UTC)(link)
[Since Aziraphale has found the letter already, don't worry about this. Kiki will have left it for him on the counter in the shop. Sweet! Something else for her to angst about!]

[identity profile] kikidelivers.livejournal.com 2005-11-09 07:51 pm (UTC)(link)
[Nope, no worries, I was able to swing it with no problem - Kiki was so freaked out about the Shane/Crowley thing that she and Harry took off from the shop until Harry could get Kiki calmed down. Then she had Flying Club and Class in the evening. It wasn't until much later that Kiki even remembered the note, which she left sitting on the counter, but the shop was so cold and frightening and full of creepiness that she wouldn't go back for it.]

[identity profile] kikidelivers.livejournal.com 2005-11-09 08:02 pm (UTC)(link)
[Yah, but it worked out really well for Kiki - Kiki's first day as an employee and all, a good reason to bring out the angst, a way to move on her own issues with Crowley, plus time with Harry? All v. good from this end!]

(Dur! I swear I'm hitting "reply" and all day LJ has been posting my comments as new threads!]
