Tonks stood behind the counter inside the shoppe, making her best effort to look professional. It probably would have worked if it wasn't for her windswept appearance, the wand tucked behind her ear, or her habitual grin.

Almost done for the morning, Yazoo had one final stop. Loz and Kadaj waited outside, bikes still running and Yazoo went into the store and straight for the jelly beans selection.

"Wotcher!" Tonks greeted cheerfully, looking up from the countertop.

Yazoo looked up at her. He had no idea what she said. His turned his gaze back on the jelly beans, "I want a pound of mixed flavors."

"Sure!" Tonks chirped, moving to stand beside him, "Anything in particular? 'Cause we've got berry blue, caramel apple, caramel corn, Dr. Pepper, French vanilla, Kiwi..." She trailed off, looking up at him.

He thought for a bit, worrying at his lower lip. "Just regular flavors. All mixed up."

"Got it!" She affirmed, going to retrieve a bag, which she quickly filled with jelly beans, including the ones that were flavored like buttered toast.

(Not yet. The shop's still just starting out. But there is wine and champagne flavored ones. And rum. You know what they say: "Candy is dandy, but liquor is quicker.")

While she did that, Yazoo gathered up a handful of lollipops and some chocolate and took it to the counter to wait.

Tonks went back to the counter, smiling brightly as she totalled his purchase.

He stared at her. What was it about this town that had people being so damn cheerful? Placing money on the counter and waiting for his change, he looked around the shop.

Maybe it was just the shop...

She handed him his change and thanked him, bright eyes twinkling with good humor.

...or maybe it was too much candy.

Yazoo nodded and unzipped his jacket to tuck the bag away safely. One final look at the store and he headed back out to his brothers and they took off.
