Fandom Town Police Station, Tuesday Evening
The police station is rather small, at least compared to those found in larger towns. One can see the interior through the reinforced glass of the windows lining the walls until it breaks off into short hallways to adjoining rooms. The sounds of rapid typing, clipped voices and incessant ringing are muted but obvious.
A young man stands behind the front desk, looking harried but not intimidating, free to direct anyone seeking assistance or information to the right department.
Throughout the room in organised lines are smaller desks topped with files and computers, lamps and phones, often cheap coffee in styrofoam cups.
Anyone is welcome to enter. They are expected to be both peaceful and respectful.
