Red is Open and In Today
After he stopped in at Blood Gulch Arms to talk with Tex, Red trotted back to his shop to open for the day. The sign was turned over and he went to the jewelry counter to pull the ring and store it in back as was Michael's request yesterday.
The cubs chased behind a brightly colored tennisball he had found and with them now preoccupied, Red went through the shop picking up cub toys to store them behind the counter, except the half gnawed gummi rat, which he threw away.
Up onto his stool, he flipped through his recent issue of Time magazine.

"Tino! No! The industrial look is not what I'm looking for. Check to see what's available in red velvet. Make sure it's tasteful or I'll ship you back to Pittsburgh. Ciao."
Lorne clicked his cell phone shut and gave Red a smile. "Good help is *so* hard to find these days. Do you have a minute to discuss a proposal I like to put in for my business or should I come back during office hours?"

before some ungrateful demon hunters destroyed my old barI had arrangement with some friends to have a sanctuary spell cast on my little business to prevent any little brawls or mishaps from happening inside. I'd like to arrange for that to happen here if I could."[OOC: Not sure how I would enforce it other than to ask players to respect the rule.
Also wanted to let you know that Lorne won't be using his aura reading powers for anyone unless requested by the player or part of a storyline that has been pre-approved by all player parties. Wanted to make sure you knew that so there wouldn't be any trouble on his part. Some players may not like what they hear... but Lorne will always be polite about it.]

"Hi. I'm Deb. I run the diner and second hand shop. One of the local places redecorated after only 2 months, and I'm sitting on a metric buttload of gently-used red velvet furniture. Got some real Tiffany lamps too if you need them."
She smiles over at Red. "Hi Red, didn't mean to be a buttinsky. Is Duce in yet?"

After a moment, when no humanoid looking being appeared, Aaron cleared his throat, "Ah.. Hello?"

"Are you Red? My name's Aaron Boone. I used to do inkwork in New York. I was hoping to chat with you or your current inkjockey about how business is in town, possibly see if you had any openings," he spoke congenially.

He came to an abrupt halt in the doorway. The proprietor seemed to be a large, red dog, reading a magazine. He bent down to the puppies and stuck his hand out for them to sniff.

Red pushed his magazine out of the way. "Hello there."

He cleared his throat and approached the counter. "Hello. I'm Jarod. I'm new, and looking for a job and a place to stay. Do you know of anyone in town who is hiring or renting an apartment?

HENNA
Arriving, she gives Red a cheery wave and carefully sets Hyde's basket on the counter where it won't get jostled or knocked over. She sets about removing the henna from the fridge, and putting her implements out.
Once finished with that, she gently begins unwrapping and undressing the egg. Speaking to Castor and Pollux, she tells them all about egg-baby Hyde, and how his mommy, Wednesday, is encouraging him to express himself. Hyde, in an effort to please his mommy, has decided to get a henna tattoo. Duce gravely informs the confused cubs that Hyde will have to sit still for a whole hour once the henna's on, and asks if they could do her a big favour by helping her keep Hyde entertained. He's only a baby, after all, and an hour's a very long time.
The cubs, pleased with this game, indicate agreement. Duce sets about using a very fine applicator tip to draw a celtic symbol for loyalty on Hyde's back.
Hyde, being a very well behaved egg, is quiet and doesn't squirm at all.
Re: HENNA
He trotted over to observe the proceedings. Finally, he asked, "Do I even want to know?"
Re: HENNA
She smiles fondly down at the boys, who are positively quivering to show how much help they can be.
