Blood Gulch Arms - Friday (NFB)

A fine and lovely morning. The bratty duck seems to have camped outside of Blood Gulch Arms. When he notices movement inside the store, he gets up and ruffles his feathers. He's all ready to look bratty and annoying, especially after he heard what happened with Snookums last night. Only, Tex is ignoring the duck. He really hadn't seen that one coming.

Closing early at 14:00

Just in: Peacekeeper weapons

Pulse pistol and Pulse rifle

((Shop lay out and supplies can be found here. Slow play until evening. RL kicks in.))

Straight after Ethics, Charlie headed into town. He'd been meaning to stop by to check on his order, but hadn't found the time. He eyed the duck as he walked in and closed the door behind him. "What'd you do to deserve the duck protestor outside? Target practice at the pond?"

"Busy week. Don't worry, I'll pay a holding fee for your trouble." Not MUCH of a holding fee, but the sentiment was nice.

He nodded. "If we get attacked by zombies again, or killer ducks from Mars, I'm gonna want to know how to shoot it without having to think twice."

"I dunno.. those ducks are pretty ominous-looking." He followed Tex.

Charlie glanced sidewards at Tex as he passed her. "Got a thing against ducks?"

"Oh, bratty ducks. I see the dilemma."

Charlie held the shotgun in his hands to get a feel for the weight. He posed, then raised the shotgun, aimed and fired. There was more of a kick to it than he remembered, but that was to be expected considering he used to be a lot heavier. He lowered the weapon, then turned and nodded at Tex.

Charlie did the math in his head, the nodded. "I already paid you for the plasma grenades, the gas mask and a month of storage last week. So this is just for the gun and the ammo."

"Nope. Just making sure we're clear on the details. What about access? You don't live here 24/7 I'm guessing, since that duck outside expects you to leave some time. What if it's after hours and I need access to my stuff? Zombies don't make appointment or call ahead."

"So I'll call. I won't, unless it's an emergency. Although if it's an emergency I'll probably bang down the door and tell you to watch out for the walking dead."

"I meant the front door.. if the surly duck outside doesn't beat me to it. And yeah, shotgun stays here. I'd rather keep it close by, but gun restrictions on campus. Annoying, but necessary. There's a lot of trigger happy kids who don't appreciate weapons for what they are at the school. They just think guns are 'cool'."

"I'm all for that. Payment - cash, right?"
