Mass, Sunday morning.

The Priest is sporting a small red poppy in his lapel. He takes, as his text, the twenty-fifth chapter of the second book of Kings, and talks at great length about military matters. It's quite rambling, and not a little confused.

The message he's trying to get across isn't entirely clear.

Sitting quietly in the third row back, Wednesday Addams listened intently. Perhaps she should attend church more often. The looting, pillaging and slaughter were a soothing topic after Duce's admittedly toned-down wrath.

Showing up visibly pregnant for a conversation with her housemate had not been the best of ideas, particularly as Wednesday had registered, if somewhat absently, Duce's current discontent. She settled in to listen to the Priest's somewhat incomprehensible mutterings on the topic of Babylon's violence against Jerusalem with a beatific little smile on her face.

Sneaking into the church during the middle of the Mass, Callisto fills a small flask from one of the fonts, then sneaks out again.

Marty also sneaks (but much better than Callisto) into the church during the middle of mass and fills a water bottle from one of the fonts before sneaking (still better than Callisto) out again.

[CJ sits in the front row, not really listening to the Father because she's praying very hard to be forgiven ahead of time for her righteous vengeance.]
