The Park - Sunday Evening
It had been a fantastic twenty four hours. One that had a smile set on Wilson's face as he walked quietly along the path, heading down towards the pond on automatic pilot. Being with House, being away from all things work, having a chance to talk and talk forward rather then dwelling backwards. It had all been...it had been good.
That House hadnot so much grudgingly offered to cover the Sunday night On Call had been an added bonus and Wilson was taking advantage of these last few hours without responsibility. He was carrying a cup of coffee from The Perk in one hand, and scuffing a tuft of leaves along in front of him with the toe of his shoes as he walked, head tilted up, face turned towards the chilly autumn air.
[ooc: Just a nice park walk, open to anyone who would like to be in the Park as well, no need to engage Wilson unless you'd like to. :) It's a big park after all!]
[ETA: I'm outtah here for the night, so Wilson won't be around but feel free to use the thread as you need to.]

He spotted the doctor wandering along the paths of the park and thought he saw the guy looking at him. He lifted a hand in a brief wave and kept going.

[ooc: Whatever works! I'm here for another hour or so.]

"Yes, yes I am. Dr. James Wilson."

"Well, the Clinic is for students and faculty only but I had been talking with Mayor Red about holding some clinic hours here in town and...what I do on my own time is...probably my business. What sort of allergies? Seasonal?"

Rodney rocked back on his heels, waiting for a verdict, an offer, or a reference. Any of the above would do.

Wilsong gave his head a slight shake, getting his thoughts back in order before he stammered a little and began to pat down his pockets.
"Well, when I last spoke with the Mayor, he was discussing setting up a contract with an ambulance company to connect to the mainland. I can...in fact I should give him a call and see how that is coming along. In the meantime...somewhere...here...ah hah!" Fishing out a little white card he held it out to Rodney.
"This is my card. It has my voice mail and my direct pager number on it. You can contact me if you have any immediate difficulties and if you can give me a number, I'll call you as soon as I've spoken with Red?"
no subject
"Mistah Fixits," he said proudly, handing it to Wilson. "Phone and voicemail. I'm Rodney, my business partner is Jonas Quinn. Uh, and thanks for the card. I'm being careful about the allergies, but it takes some getting used to. And the people I know think it's funny to give me lemons and stuff like that. So I have to be careful."
no subject
"How allergic are you?"

"Good that you have the epi-pen, I was going to suggest one if you didn't already have it."
no subject
no subject
"I'll be in touch, Mr. McKay, as soon as I hear from Red. In the meantime if you experience any complications or need another epi-pen, contact me, day or night."
Holding his hand back out, dark eyes twinkled gently. "It was a pleasure to meet you."

"Good evening, Ben!"

"I have had an amazing weekend, Ben. And yourself?"
no subject
no subject
"Well, it certainly sounds as if you've had an eventful weekend at least. But eventful in all the right ways. Karaoke? Where was this?"
no subject

"Actually, I'm on something of an enforced 'get your ass out of here' courtasy of my partner. Just for tonight, tomorrow it will be back to the regularly scheduled insanity but...actually yes, it's been a blessedly slow weekend."

no subject
"I'm afraid I can relate with that sentiment. Work is a bit of a security blanket for me."
His head came back up and he smiled. "But it's good to get out, I find it's really helped me meet new people and...get to start calling this rather unique place we live, home."

((ooc: Like House would go, but hey, Ben doesn't know that.))
no subject
"I'd enjoy that, Ben." Silently echoing Ben's words in his own head, knowing without a doubt that as long as House was here, Wilson's heart was here...in the middle of the insanity.
[ooc: Wilson has a little whip for just such occasions, but House!Mun's availbility sometimes bites the best laid intentions in the butt.]

((ooc: Riding crops work well. Not that Ben would know. Not at all.))
no subject
"Curfew...thank you for reminding me and thank you for the potential invitation, Ben. I'd really enjoy getting to catch up with you two. Have a wonderful evening."
[ooc: The riding crop isn't the kink...it's the spurs!]
no subject
((ooc: Well, Ben does have to worry about drawing blood, so...have to be careful enough with just the crop.))
