In the Park: By the Fountain
Maia sat on the bench, her favorite bench in the park watching the fountain and tossing bread crumbs at the ducks. She was happy, she was at total peace. Paige had gone to talk to Geoff and she said she would wait in the park for her.

She pauses "I think you might be wrong about James by the way. I saw him today."

She looks at Maia "seriously, I'm not taking him back no matter how sexy he is" she tells her as she shakes her head trying to make herself believe it

They would definitely hear the insults he's hurling at the ducks.
"Hang 'em from the yardarm!" he screeched in tiny parroty rage.

The ducks certainly don't have his beautiful plumage.
"Shiver me timbers!" he squawked.

If parrots could smirk, he'd be smirking. The ducks were getting no love tonight.
"Wind in her sails," he cried, "Wind in her sails!"

He bet the ducks never got asked to go home with anyone.
But he was a parrot who could not be tied down. With a look of parrot-y regret, he took to the skies.
But not before his system evacuated the parts of the muffin and bread he wasn't going to be using.
Parroty poop would be landing on Maia and Paige if they don't move quickly.
Sorry about that.
