Spike's Pub: Open 11/15

Chewbacca lets himself in, ties on the green apron and unlocks the door. Bored, he plays Dave Carter's "Tanglewood Tree" on the juke.

Ivanova strolls into the pub after Flight Club and some supper, after discovering that Jack hadn't shown up again. Deciding it was too late to open up for business, she also decided that she needed a drink. She waves to the shaggy bartender. "Hey, Chewbacca."

He points to the sign that requires patrons to be 21 to drink and shrugs.

Chewbacca picks up his translator.

"As explained to me, it is as of right now. I am sorry. But if you like blender drinks I can make one without the alcohol."

Ivanova wilts. Probably not even going to look at her ID. "Thanks. Seabreeze, please. There are some things I really miss about being an adult."

Chewbacca pats her comfortingly and adds, very quietly, "My cub requires daily alco. Were you to stop by, he would offer."

He delivers her seabreeze.

"Thanks," she says, accepting it and taking a sip. "Eh, good enough." So how is Han? Haven't seen him around much, except in passing at Flight Club."

Ivanova comes very, very close to snorking her drink at Chewie's matter-of-fact appraisal of Han's sex life. And she isn't at all regretful that she was too drunk that one night. Nope, not at all.

"Yeah, studying . . . Since it appears the night is to be dry, I should head home and get some of that done." She finishes off her drink, shudders through the throatfreeze, and lays some money down on the counter. "I'll see ya around."

Chewbacca smells her disappointment. "Perhaps I should have let him serenade you that night. He protested quite strongly that I should. Please do come visit any time the ramp is down. Will you be safe getting home, little one?"
