What looked like bags were under Red's eyes but he was in good spirits, despite the paperwork strewn over his counter. The cubs were piled up in a corner on a few pillows they had dragged downstairs and Red opened the shop for business.

Paige walked in at lunch time, she looked pretty worried, but she was trying to hide it.

"Red I need a pendant, well at least 4 actually." she says hopig a cub will come play

"Hello, Paige! I'm sorry we lost each other this weekend," Red said looking up from his counter.

Two cubs, actually, bounced up off the pillows and raced toward her, sliding on the floor to crash into each other and her feet. They can smell the 'kitty' on her, which makes her even that much more interesting.

Paige smiles and kneels down to pet them, "that's okay. Things seemed pretty hectic and I had to leave early anyway."

She bites her lip and looks up, "you remember the tattoo you did for me? I'd like 4 pendants with that symbol. I really need one of them today, but I can wait for the rest."

Red leapt down from his stool and padded over to the cases that held his jewelry. "Come over here and see if there is something you like," he said with a nod to his head.

Paige got up and followed, looking in a case of celtic jewelry she smiled and pointed at a matt pendant on a leather thong (http://www.mwart.com/xq/ASP.productlg/pid.271/qx/charmed-celtic-necklace.htm).
"That's the one," she said smiling, "could you order three more like that only shiner and one a chain? Maybe one with a stone in the center?"

She continued to look in the case, "I'll take that anklet too please (http://www.mwart.com/xq/ASP.product/pid.2325/qx/celtic-knot-anklet.htm)" she tells Red pointing to it.

Opening the case, Red removed the things she wanted and placed them on the counter. "Did you want a box for those?" he asked as he went back to his main counter. A quick note jotted down to order what she wanted, he started to work at his computer to ring up the total.

"I'll order those this afternoon and they should be here by Wednesday if they're in stock." He looked over at her and grinned. "Which they should be."

"Yeah I'd like both in boxes please, they're presents, one's for CJ since I didn't have chance to get her anything until now."

She smiles, "cool I'll come back on Wednesday, if they aren't in by then not to worry. This is the only one I needed straight away." she pauses for a moment hoping the pendant wouldn't be too girlie for Sawyer, "so how's business going?" she asks

Boone comes in, greets Red and stops to fondle the pups. Red has things pretty much set up, so he leans on the counter and flips through a flash book, occasionally pushing his hair out of his eyes, and politely leaves Red to his conversation with Paige.

Paige notices him come in and smiles, she wonders if maybe she should him what he thought of pendant she'd just bought

Red leapt down to rummage under his newly straighted counterspace to find two boxes. Placing them on the counter, he grinned at her. "I'll have you put them in the boxes. And it's $25 for the two you're buying now. When the rest come in, you can pay for them then."

"Business is good," he said, nodding to Aaron when he came in. "Got a new ink jockey and he's been a dream helping pick up the work. Have you met"

She carefully puts them into the boxes and nods handing him the money, "we met briefly on Saturday at the museum." she tells him, "I'm glad business is doing well though, are you not doing any tattooing yourself now then?"

[ooc: still no comment notifies! ARGH!] Raising his hazel eyes from the magazine, Aaron finally recognises the girl standing there. "Good morning, Paige. Forgive me, haven't had my coffee yet."

"I still ink," Red said with a nod. "I just needed help since the town is sucking away my time and I lucked out with Aaron coming in at just the right time."

Paige smiles, "that's okay I guess I look different without almost white hair!"

"You do, a little," Aaron admitted. At Red's comment, he pushed his hair out of his eyes almost with embarassment, "Yeah, well, according to snake-girl, you need to learn to delegate more anyway." He retorts with obvious affection. "You should let Mrs. Grundy take over more and that's a fact."

Snickering, Red rested on the counter to talk with them. The transaction could wait. "Everyone says I should hire an assistant. Who would I want to inflict that sort of torture on?"

Paige looks distinctly uncomfortable at the mention of Duce, she was avoiding her big style.

She forces a smile for them both, "I erm should get going now anyway. It was nice to see you again Aaron and I'll see you on Wednesday Red. Thanks"

Aaron waves as Paige turns to leave, retorting to Red, "Some of the people who ought to be doing community service, of course. Like whoever set off the M80 and blew a hole in the park, for instance."

Red waved his tail at Paige when she left.

Sighing, he rested his head on his paws. "I wish it were that easy," he said in reference to the park. "I have a call in for help to get the situation under control, if there's a situation left to get under control."
