Outside Luke's diner (lunchtime)

Paige stood outside the diner waiting for Boone, she hoped he'd not forgotten, she was looking forward to catching up with him and she only had an hour.

She was looking forward to spending a little time with him out of classes, they'd not done that in a while.

((feel free to use this post for any diner stuff and Boone mun I'm about til 8pm EST so whenever you're ready))

"Hey," Boone greeted easily as he approached, shivering slightly - his well-loved jacket was comfortable and familiar, but not good against the late November chill.

"It's great," he answered, unable to keep the note of mirth out of his voice. "How'd you get kicked out Deb's?"

"It's nice here," he commented, sitting across from her. "I've never been here before, actually." He grinned at the warmth of the diner, shrugging out of his jacket.

"Pepsi," he added, meeting her eyes impishly.

"I don't have any," he answered, glancing at the menu, though his piercing blue gaze lingered on her for a moment more.

"Sure, that sounds better than instant ramen alone." He grinned, "Might anyone else I know be there?"

"I don't know," he shrugged. "I'll probably end up just getting a cheeseburger." He smiled slightly. "What about you?"

"But if we ignore I'll have nothing to tease you about," he pointed out, grinning.

"Still, Pepsi always wins against Coke." He countered, eyes bright.

He gave her a wary glance, "You're not going to take all of the ice out, except for three ice cubes, then slowly stir in Splenta are you?" He regarded a packet of the artificial sweetener with disdain.

"It's all right," he reassured, taking a sip of his Pepsi. "It's just my sister used to do that with her iced tea, no matter where she was, and it would drive me insane." He grinned slightly at the memory.

"I've been pretty good," he murmured, looking into his drink. "How are things with Sawyer?"
