The edge of the Park - Wednesday afternoon

After he'd finished up in the Clinic for a bit, Wilson decided he needed to get a wriggle on and head down into town to get the supplies he and House would need for making their Thanksgiving dinner.

Swinging by the NPC Grocery store, the oncologist had gotten most everything they needed and had arranged for the groceries to be delivered up to the apartment, which would save him having to lug a big box of groceries through town. He and House really were going to have to discuss getting a Mini Cooper.

After the grocery store, he swung by a bakery to get the pumpkin pie his lover had specifically asked for and then a swing into a liqour store yielded a couple of bottles of wine. One for cooking, one for drinking. Bags in his hands, the younger doctor was now walking back through town, heading for home.

[ooc: Open if anyone wants to catch up with him before mun availability becomes sporadic until Sunday. Slowtime is love until this evening.]

Tex had closed her shop early. Holiday moods tended to be bad on her business, yet another reason for her to be cranky. She had one arm wrapped around her chest almost protectively, her bruises had gotten more colourful.

She grunted a greeting as she passed Wilson on the street, completely unaware of the duck peering around the corner of the street she just came from.

Tex raised an eyebrow. "I should go find a den or something for tomorrow."

"I'm always in my right to sit and burp," Tex smirked, cocking her head. "I don't need a damn holiday for that."

Tex blinked. "Sounds to me like you need to do more what you want instead of look for excuses first, doc."

"I'm always grouchy," Tex replied matter of factly.

Tex gritted her teeth. "Yes," she grounded out.

"It's cracked, but it's healing. Not much you can do, doc." Tex shook her head.

"Zhaan gave me some herbs," she sighed. "No."

"I'm used to it," Tex for once tried to not sound annoyed, not that it was working.

Tex for a moment looked stunned, then nodded slowly. "Fine, I'll do that."

"Yeah, I'm sure it will rock my socks off." Tex remarked dryly. "Have fun burping."
