Caritas is OPEN--Monday

After running into Parker on Wednesday, followed by a weekend outside camping, Jarod was more than ready to get back to work.

He couldn't wait to see what tonight brought.

Allison comes in looking seriously stressed, she needs a drink.

Jarod smiled at the woman. "What can I get for you this fine evening?"

"Something hard." Allison says, she has half a mind to call Joe and scream at him. How could he have thought leaving the girls with her without talking to her would be a good idea? At least Ariel was old enough to babysit.

With a raised eyebrow, Jarod poured a glass of whiskey, neat, and placed it on the bar in front of the woman. "Rough day?"

"My husband brought my daughters all the way from Phoenix and left them with me, without discussing it first." Allison said.

"Wow." Jarod wasn't sure how much farther he was supposed to take this bartender equals sympathetic ear thing. He didn't want to be nosy. "That must be...complicated."

"It is, and I'm happy to see my girls, I just think he should have consulted me." Allison says, sipping her drink. She looks around, she's never been here before but it seems like a good place.

He thought about that for a minute, examining what little he knew of the situation. "Yes, it seems like that would have been the most effective course of action."

Lorne strolls to the bar and slaps his hand on the table.

"Set it up, Jerry! I'm in desperate need of a Sea Breeze! Ah hell! Make it a double!"

"Good evening, sir! Did you have a nice Thanksgiving?" Jarod made a double Sea Breeze, light on the ice, and placed it in front of Lorne.

"Lovely holiday. ~~I pretended Tino was a Turkey and stuffed him~~ I drank and sang my cares away. How about you Jerry? Your frequent phone call buddy finally find you?"

Jarod raised an eyebrow. "Yes, as a matter of fact, she did. We had quite the conversation, actually."

"As for my holiday, I went camping. It was quite the experience."

"I bet that was a conversation. Versace came back here and gave me an earful. So where'd you go camping Jerry? What experience was it like?"

"She gave you an earful?" Jarod looked concerned. "I'm sorry about that. Parker has a tendency to get...emotional, when she's upset. I hope she didn't say anything to offend you."

"Just in the woods. I took a pot and some food--did you know you can cook hotdogs on sticks, then use them to ignite marshmallows later on in the evening? I slept out in my sleeping bag, and all I could see was stars. It was a few of the best nights of my life."

Quiet conversation, if you can hear it over all the mocking of the singers.
