[Aficianado Arms Hotel -- Locked to Belthazor, Darla, and Lindsey - NFB]
Thursday night after his Arthurian Traditions class, Belthazor walked Phoebe to their room. She was still upset after her encounter with her younger sister in study hall, but she insisted he go out that evening like he had planned. So after giving her a comforting hug, he walked down the hall to #408, his old room, and knocked on the door.
Lindsey answered the door. "So where are we going?" he asked.
"It's a surprise," Bel said, stepping inside the room and shutting the door.
Lindsey cast a protective glance at his new mini-fridge, then looked back at Belthazor. "Going to tell me her name at least?"
"I'll let her make the introductions," Bel said. "I've never shimmered you anywhere, have I?" He grinned at Lindsey. "First time may make you a little sick. Hold on to your lunch."
"What?" Lindsey started to say as Bel took hold of his arm and shimmered out of the room. When they reappeared before a closed door in a windowless corridor, he staggered and fell against the wall, clutching his stomach. "I think I'm going to throw up," he muttered, glaring at Bel.
"That'll really impress the lady," Bel snickered. He was nice enough to give Lindsey a minute to recover so he didn't totally embarrass himself, then knocked on the door.

"You do that all the time and you aren't hurling constantly? Damn. We can walk back, right?"

after her mun woke up from a nap. She had dressed carefully for this, in a shimmery royal blue camisole with a sheer top over it, and a tight blue satin skirt with iridescent beading. Not overtly vampy, but sexy. She still had a moment of shock at the sight of Lindsey, teenaged and looking like a choir boy. "Good evening, gentlemen. Come on in."

"Pleasure to meet you, Darla. Turner here tells me you know me. Or, some other me. Something like that."

Lindsey grinned. So, an alternate older him was a lawyer and had very good taste in "friends." This was all very good to know.
"We were...friends?"

"Back to life? Seriously? What do you mean, everything you'd lost?"

Then she sat back down. "Lindsey, it's all a very long story, and there are things I have to trust you with if I tell you the truth. I knew you before, and I knew I could trust that Lindsey." She stopped and met his eyes. "Angel killed me in another world -- universe, timeline, what have you. I don't want to give him the opportunity kill me again."

Then he listened, trying to make sense of all of this.
"Angel? Like, the souled version? Why would he kill you?"
He left the trust issue alone for now. He wasn't sure what to say to that.

Lindsey ran his fingers through his hair nervously. Turner could have given him a heads up on that, at least. Not that it really mattered, but it still would have been nice to know going into this little meeting.

He might have been a little quick with that denial, but he's certainly not going to admit to being afraid.
"Just wasn't expecting that answer, I guess."

[OOC: Sleepy demon go to bed. Consider Bel watching with amusement. If you finish tonight, he can shimmer Linds home (unless he wants to walk ;). He'll also discretely leave if....hee.]

"Not funny, Turner."
[ooc:sadly, I am about to faceplant on my keyboard and am going to bed before that happens. Darla, finish tomorrow?]
