Blood Gulch Arms - Monday (NFB)

Satisfied that both her ribs and the wound had healed enough, Tex was finally back in armour again. When she made it down to the shop and flipped the sign on the door, she noticed that not only was the bratty duck with teeth sitting on the other side of the street. He had brought a friend.

This was starting to get ridiculous. She wondered if Red would mind a duck genocide.

((Shop lay out and supplies can be found here.))

Yazoo hadn't seen Tex in a while and since he and his brothers were in town, he made a stop by Blood Gulch to check in with her.

In the front door, he strolled to the counter and leaned on it. "Hey."

[ooc- I'll be slow for a bit. Hope that's okay.]

Tilting his head to see the gunblade on her armor, he smiled. "I really have business, not just coming to take up space in your shop. You sell just boxes of ammo?"

"What I need is a box of .22 bullets," Yazoo said. "I just finished a refurb and wanted to blow a couple of rounds through it to make sure the firing pin is seating right."

He nodded. "Just one. If the owner wants her own, she can come get them."

Pulling out the cash, he slid it across the counter to her and picked up the box. "I see you're back in your armor," he said, stating the obvious.

"Yeah." Laughing, he slid the box open to look inside. "Getting so used to seeing you in armor, seeing you out seems almost like it's not normal."

In a weird sort of way, Yazoo could relate. He, and his brothers, felt like that about their bikes. They would feel 'less' if they didn't have them. Naked, he supposed. "Yeah," he agreed with a smile.

He tapped the box on the counter. "Thanks for these."

[ooc- Not very chatty today, sorry. But I did want to get an interaction in with you.]

He supposed that was what he liked most about Tex. She was pretty no-nonsense and didn't waste words.

Giving her a nod, Yazoo went back out into the snow to head home.
