Spike's Pub: Open 12/6

Chewbacca opens the pub, wearing a rather festive and oversized Santa hat.
He gets it all in order and starts figuring out a way to rig the juke to play Christmas carols. He's in a very amused mood tonight

Snacks are out, the deep-fryer's hot, and the beer is cold.

Spike walks into the bar and nods to the wookie, grabbing a bottle of whiskey as he heads to a dark corner.

They hadn't forgotten, being the conscientious boys that they were. The brothers rode up and parked their bikes on the street, alarming and striding into the Pub. If Spike said he wanted to see them, they made sure to be there like he wanted.

Seeing him in the corner, they split off. Kadaj headed for Spike letting Loz and Yazoo take up places around the bar. They sat by close enough they could just hear and to keep Spike and Kadaj from being interrupted. Anything Spike told Kadaj would get told to his brothers, reported factually and without error.

He stood at the table before sliding into a chair across from Spike. "Hey."

Spike nodded and poured himself a drink and another for Kadaj. "I don't suppose I told you and your brothers about my little... affliction I have, did I?"

Kadaj took the glass and let it spin around in his fingers before taking a sip. "I remember our fight when we first got here, how you figured out we aren't human and how that somehow changed things so you could fight back. That have something to do with it?

Spike nods and takes a sip of his drink. "A while back some government scientists put a little chip in my head. Prevents me from harming anyone remotely human. I'd like you boys to help me find someone to get it out."

"In your head?" Kadaj licked at his lips and thought about that. "So you need a doctor. Someone who can go in and remove it."

Drinking more, he set the glass back on the table with a deliberate ~tack~. "If you know who, we can get them."

Spike smiled and pulled out a sealed manila envelope.

"The information on the good doctor is here. I think you'll find it will be better to get the doctor sometime in the coming week according to my sources."

He refills Kadaj class.

"Take a look at the file and let me know if you boys are up to the task."

Kadaj took another sip and opened the envelope. Sifting through the pages and the photos, he nodded and handed it over to his brothers. Loz and Yazoo both look through the information before handing it back to Kadaj.

"We'll have to get a few things but we can do it," Kadaj said, tucking it all back into the envelope and handing it over to Yazoo, who slipped it inside his leathers. "You have a place for this?"

"For what I want the Doctor to do? We'll find a place. On the mainland. Let me know when you boys are ready and I'll arrange the place."

"When we're ready to move, I'll call," Kadaj said, tucking back the rest of his drink. He and his brothers would do this for Spike because they liked him, even if they didn't understand just what would happen when the chip was removed.

It was clearly a situation Spike didn't want...so they were willing to help.

"Thank you boys. I'll make sure there's a lovely gift for you underneath the tree this year."

Spike gives them a sly grin.

Kadaj returned the smile and stood up from the table, thinking their business was concluded. Because he and his brothers had work to do.

Already in motion, Loz and Yazoo headed for the door. "We'll be in touch, Spike," Kadaj said.
