Blood Gulch Arms - Wednesday

"You're late," Tex grumbled as she opened the door of the shop.

"Five minutes!" The man protested, but as he looked up at his own reflection in the golden visor, he faltered. "I'll give you 5% off on this delivery."

Tex didn't move, she just looked down on the man until he shifted nervously and nodded his head. "Fine, 10%."

"Sounds more like it," she kept the door wide open so the supplier's men could get the crates inside and moved to the armoured door to open it. She kept close watch as they brought everything into the supply room and then let the door close behind them.

The supplier moved to the counter and placed a case on it. "As you ordered, although I don't see why you wanted to do this..."

"None of your business," Tex snapped and opened the case. She picked up the 9mm and checked to see if everything was in order.

The man looked uncomfortable when Tex didn't comment, just stood there as if she was frozen. For a moment, he wondered if there really wasn't anything but wires underneath the armour and the energy source had just run dry. He shook his head and spoke quickly, nervously as he was scared there was something wrong with the gun. "It's good, I checked it. I'm not dumb enough to screw you over, Tex."

"No, everything is perfectly fine," She finally moved and put the gun back in it's case.

The man wondered if it was just his imagination or that her voice really sounded an octave deeper than normally. He somehow doubted it was with emotion. "My money?"

Tex wordlessly picked up the money and handed it to the man. He didn't have the guts to recount it in front of her and quickly moved outside, the spartan followed closely on his heels.

Tex watched as the truck drove off and flipped the sign. She put the handgun underneath the counter, she'd deliver it later.
