"Hi," Inara says, smiling. "I'm Inara. Are you a new employee of Michael's or a visiting friend?"

Tobias gives a shy wave. "Yeah, Michael just hired me. It's my first day here," he says smiling meekly at the lovely woman. "My name's Tobias."

"Welcome to Fandom, then," Inara says, smiling. "Anything in particular that brought you here or just random chance?"

"Winds of fate one might say," Tobias said, immediately smacking himself mentally for sounding so cliche and dramatic. He smiles. "Thanks for the welcome."

"It's no trouble," Inara says.

"Are you living in town? There are groups of townspeople that are arranging to get together every now and then - Michael and Ben will know about it when they happen. You might like to come along if you have the time and inclination." She smiles. "We aren't exactly a laugh a minute, but there are all kinds of people from varied backgrounds and the clashes can be...entertaining."

"Yeah, I live in town in a nest at the park."
Tobias thinks a little about the proposition and shrugs, nodding his head. "Sounds pretty cool... I'd like to get to know the other people in town," His smile widens. "And trust me, the variation and diversity here is incredibly welcome."
