Aziraphale's Festively-Decorated Bookshop
Kiki opens the shop, and runs through her mental check-off list.
"Open" sign - check.
Tea and cocoa - check.
Scones and biscuits - check.
Crackling fire in the fireplace - check.
Cozy chairs and pillows - check.
Festive decorations - check.
Lack of avocados - check!

Re: Books
He smiles brightly, looking for all the world like he's about to embark on a week-long cruise rather than a day escorting a doctor to New Jersey.
Re: Books
"All right...but you know what this means right? We have to find and purchase a thoroughly tackey little snowglobe with a replica of the Statue of Liberty in it for you to bring home."
Re: Books
"That's a lovely idea. Did you see the ornament my 'Secret Santa' gave me?"
Re: Books
"You...have a Secret Santa? I thought ... bah, never mind that's just me being cynical. An ornament? Where is it?"
The shop must be swimming in ornaments at this point, Wilson quickly wondered if Phale had ever had quite so chaotic a holiday before.

Re: Books
"This, is adorable." He tapped the halo and turned back to the angel, coming back to the couch.
"And if I remember my office politics correct, you have someone that you're doing the same thing for?" Wilson grinned fiendishly. "Who is it?"
He knew Phale couldn't say but that didn't stop him from asking, because that was part of the fun after all!

Re: Books
"I can tell you right now it's not me because I didn't sign up to participate." Dark eyes twinkled amusedly over at the angel. "So... see? You'd be safe telling me."
Re: Books
His tone is light and teasing, but he looks a little concerned, wondering if there's a reason Wilson declined to participate.
Re: Books
Re: Books
"But there's no reason to hold yourself back here, James, you know."
Re: Books
"So, I suppose you're not even going to tell me what you got your Secret Santa buddy?"
Wilson weedled, not to subtly.
Re: Books
Leaning closer, he whispers a name in Wilson's ear.
"Now do remember, you promised."
Re: Books
"Uh..." A brilliant response and the young doctor moved quickly to follow it up. "I mean...that's...that's nice?"
Re: Books
Sipping at his tea, he adds, "I ought to get something for Crowley."
Re: Books
"What were you thinking about gifting him with?"
Because quite honestly, what did one give a demon who...could pretty much get anything he wanted?
Re: Books
Sighing, he says, "But perhaps I'll think of something. He always has these catalogues he looks through. Perhaps there's something in there."
Re: Books
"Wait...you mean the ones he was reading that had you asking me what a DVR is?"
Re: Books
He glances casually around the shop, but doesn't actually make any move to go look for one.
Re: Books
"So Crowley likes gadgets?" The young doctor's lips twitched as he thought about House and the older doctor's adoration for gadgets and modern big boy toys.
"Well, we can certainly find ... anything and everything in the city. Bring a couple of the catalogues along for the car ride, if you don't think Crowley would miss them?"
Re: Books
He gives Wilson that delighted smile again, the one that shows in his eyes as well, and pours himself some more tea.
Re: Books
Cough, "Come..." cough. "Come again?"
Dark eyes looked up to those mischevious blue and Wilson felt his lips twitch.
"Remind me never to get on the bad side of your sense of humor!"
Re: Books
He looks just a bit mischievous, and sips at his tea.
Re: Books
Wilson said with a hint of ruefulness.
