Jack walks into the diner with a scowl and a jaunty, glitter-infused Christmas tree hat affixed to his head.

"Hey handsome! Haven't seen you before. What can I get you tonight?"

He squinted at her, dislodging some glitter from his hat. "You must be Deb." He extends a small figure made from a toilet paper roll and construction paper, with a very recognisable red vest and rainbow-striped scarf. "The perky Russian sends this along with her compliments. She works for me, but sometimes I think it's the other way around. I'm Jack, by the way. Jack Dalton."

"That's adorable. From Susan you said? Tell her thanks."

Deb sets the caroler on the shelf beside the salt and pepper shakers Shane gave her.

"Pleased to meet you Jack. I'm Deb, but you know that. What'll it be tonight?"

"I have been commanded by her Imperial Highness," he rolled his eyes, "To procure pie. I'm assuming of the blueberry variety. Can you do take-out?"

Deb laughs. "Since blueberry's all we got today, it'd be your best bet. Take out is not a problem. A slice, or the whole pie?"

"I think you should make it the whole pie," Jack said, thinking. "Then I might actually get a chance to have a bite."

Deb packages up a pie in the takeout box.
"$7. Enjoy. And you tell her I said you get a whole slice or she has to wash dishes next time she comes in."

Deb tries looking fierce, but the smile wrecks it. "Please come in any time."
