Red's is Open!
Red and the cubs got back into town late Sunday evening. His trip had been quite successful and knew that his stock in jewelry, when it arrived, would reflect that. The cubs themselves were currently nestled in the pillows upstairs in his flat, worn from their travels.
This, of course, was a good thing. It meant Red would be able to actually get some work done.
He checked his messages, frowning that Aaron had to leave so suddenly, but it was understandable, and concerned by the message left by Charles Kawalsky. Frowning, he listened to it a second time and pondered it, making a mental note to drop by and see her some time this week. Since this wasn’t the first time she acted a bit out of character, he wasn’t too concerned except there was mention of “talking about causing damage, and knowing Tex she has access to things that could make that happen” that did give him pause for concern.
So his visit with Tex would happen a bit sooner.
He opened his shop and got to work on township business.
Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed a an envelope wedged down behind the door. He hadn't noticed when he first came in and trotted over to it, reading Gladys' prim handwriting that it was left for him at his office and she wanted to make sure he got it. Opening it with care and reading it, Red was quite pleased with this thoughtful gift and would find creative ways to put it to good use.

He shook his head. "Is this a common occurrance to happen up at the school? Students changing into animals?"
