The Emporium is open -- Friday

The two signs remain in the window for:

Fandom Town caroling

and

Aziraphale's holiday gathering

Michael was excited about the caroling tonight. He really hoped people would show up. Ben was upstairs printing out lyrics so people who were unfamiliar with the songs could sing along too. Ben hadn't really gotten into the spirit of the season until now, and Michael was glad to see it taking hold. Although after his converstation with the brothers yesterday about Tex, Michael's own spirits had dampened a bit.

Lana comes in shivering a little despite her warm coat and smiles at Michael. "Hi. I'm really looking forward to the caroling tonight."

Michael smiles back warmly. "I'm glad. I think we're going to have a lot of fun. Hopefully it won't be too cold, although I'm sure we'll have places to stop in and get warm along the way." He holds out his hand. "I'm not sure if we've met before. I'm Michael."

She smiles brightly and takes his hand. "Lana Lang. And no, I haven't been in here before. I wanted to stop in and get some candles and things and let you know that my, um... my friend, Shep, adn I would be coming caroling tonight."

She wanders about choosing a few other random things then comes back to check-out. "Thanks again, and I'll see you tonight!"

Michael rings up the items and gives her her total. "I'm looking forward to it. Please feel free to pass the word around. We'd be happy to have a crowd show up tonight."

Michael tallies up the items and bags them. "$18.42." He scratches his head. "Holiday craft project?"
