Red's is Open

The shop opened, the jingle balls jingled with cubs chasing behind them and Red sat behind his computer, typing with his mouthstick.

Red looked up from his typing, mouthstick sticking out of his mouth. "Hellow." he said. Placing it down next to the keyboard, he nodded. "Please, come in."

"Of course," Red shifted around on his stool to face her. "I'm always willing to listen to ideas for the town."

"Certainly an idea worth considering. It would, of course, depend on the shop owners, their availability and their willingness to help." Red tilted his head to think. "Or perhaps to have a neighborhood watch, comprised of students and townsfolk, to tour the park area?"

"Another excellent idea!" Red said. He liked that one, a place for students to feel like they could crash if something happened and they couldn't make it back on campus. On more than one occasion he'd opened his flat for students in need of a place. "Would you be willing to organize a list of interested volunteers?"

"Sounds wonderful," Red grinned at her and stretched out on the counter. "Was there anything else?"

"It was my pleasure. If there's anything I can do to help, make sure to call," he said with a nod.
