The Park, Early Weds 12-21
He'd spent a good portion of the night in the bathtub, soaking his leg. He hadn't slept, even when he'd curled up under the blankets, because he couldn't quiet the onslaught of thoughts careening through his head.
"I want to be your lover, House ... I don't want to be your drug." Wilson's words echoed in his mind, overriding all his thoughts, so that every thought came back around to that one statement. How had he let this happen? He'd been so blind to so many things over the last few months. How had he not seen what he was doing to Wilson? Because he didn't want to see it. Because he was, as he had always been, so wrapped up in his own problems he didn't acknowledge a lot of what was going on around him. It wasn't that he didn't see it, it was that he didn't want to see it.
By day break, he was up and out of bed. A hot shower before he wrapped his thigh, padding the aching leg with heat. He connsidered going in to the clinic for a few hours, but headed out the other way instead, and made his way, slowly, in to town. A walk in the park might help clear his head. He needed to formulate a plan, a course of action, to get himself back on track.
"I want to be your lover, House ... I don't want to be your drug."
[OOC: Open to interaction, or your own threads. Also, just a side note. Today (12-21) is Greg's birthday. He won't be advertising it, but since there are pups who might know it, thought I'd throw it out there]
[OOC the second: Mun is AFK for a bit. Will be back later]

"Hello, Dr. House!" she says cheerfully. She hands him a note that simply reads, "Happy Birthday Greg," then starts plucking all sorts of presenty goodness out of her basket.
A CD (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00005Y1M2/qid=1135178627/sr=2-1/ref=pd_bbs_b_2_1/104-6876074-0991969?v=glance&s=music)
and
"Happy Birthday, sir," she smiles.

"Thank you, Kiki." He accepts the gifts, and smiles at each one. It's definitely turning out to be a good run for his Johnny Cash obsession. He sets the flower pot of lollypops to the side, and the CD between his kneess so he can look over the bottle of Whisky.
"This is good stuff," he says softly. "And so unexpected. Thank you."
