The Emporium is Open -- Thursday

While the store is open, Michael is more absorbed in his lists of what to bring with them and what they'll need for next week when Hunter and his fiancee would be visiting. He only barely glances up when customers come in.

Marty walked into the store and picked up a bunch of assorted and weird cheeses, some different types of bread loaves, and a George Foreman grill/sandwich press. Walking by the sporting goods section he also picked up a flashlight and a new cricket bat before heading to tje register.

Michael looks over the items as he's ringing them up and bagging them. Picking up the cricket bat, he says, "Preparing for the new semester, I see." He finishes the items and adds, "That'll be $78.42."

Marty gives Michael a small smile. "You could say that. My last Cricket bat has seen a lot of use. Thought I'd get another one just in case it's too far gone for repair."

Marty hands over the appropriate amount of money.

"Thanks. Merry Christmas."
