Rare Books Shop, Monday
The shop is open, although it's fairly quiet. There's no music playing, although there are Boxing Day gifts for the employees -- small packages of candied fruits, coffee or tea, and biscuits. Aziraphale's set of chairs and table -- the ones that used to sit by the window, have been moved into a secluded corner near the kitchen, and there's now only one armchair.
This is where he can be found, if anyone happens to be looking for him. He's reading, although occasionally he pulls a small blue jewel from his pocket and gazes at it. If you're looking for relationship advice today...don't come to the angel.
[ooc: Slow-playing liek woah today, until the mun actually gets home this evening.]

She blinks slowly, canting her head to the side.
//And why are you so sad the demon is gone?//
Re: BOOKS
After a long pause, he adds, "And I miss him because he was my friend."

Re: BOOKS
"He is my friend because he's the only other person who's been around to talk to for six thousand years, we understand one another, and he's not as bad a sort as most people think. Also, I find him interesting and amusing, and he's always been rather nice to me." He frowns a little, then moves on to the next question. "Our feathers were together because we'd stored them there until they could be disposed of, and rather forgot about them. We lost them because...I lost mine because I had assisted with a very important spell and used too much power. Crowley lost his because...because he was upset that I was dying."
The remainder of his answer comes very quickly. "I already told you why you look like him, and I haven't any idea why you can't talk. And I don't dislike you...you simply make me nervous and I'm rather in a foul mood today."
Then he reopens the book and stares at it, a great deal less calm than he had been.

She walks in and begins to browse the shelves.

"Good morning, Miss Chase. I hope you had a nice holiday," he says, holding out the cup.

Then she recognizes the man offering the tea and she almost manages a smile. "Mr. Phale! You saved me from thezombies, right?"
Re: BOOKS (post or pre-Maggie)
Motioning her further inside, he waves a hand toward the lounge. "Would you like to sit down, my dear? And perhaps tell me what's happened that would...change things so?"
Re: BOOKS (post or pre-Maggie)
"And nobody knows how to get me home. That's the hardest part, really. I could deal with being here otherwise."

He leans across and pats Angela's arm. "I'm certain they'll find a way to fix it, my dear. Strange things are known to happen here, but they usually right themselves in good time."

"And it's too bad you guys don't have a playground. I guess the island is too small."
Re: BOOKS (post or pre-Maggie)
Aziraphale looks a little worried, and decides this might be something he should look into.
"Er, possibly. But I don't believe I've ever seen any children on the island, either. None of the townspeople seem to have families."
Re: BOOKS (post or pre-Maggie)
"And yeah, the blue guy -- The Tick -- told me the ducks were armed. Maybe he's confused. He also told me he went back in time to save the renaissance."
Re: BOOKS (post or pre-Maggie)
Looking out the window for a moment, he says, "If you run into Magdalene again, would you do me a favor?"
