At the edge of the park, midday
With a light *pop*, a middle-aged, slightly disheveled blonde appeared. She was holding a hot pink carpetbag and a wand in one hand, and a small notepad and bright green quill in the other.
"Well, bugger," she said softly, looking at her surroundings. "I wonder if I'm in the right spot."
She sighed very heavily, and upon seeing absolutely no one who looked even remotely useful to her, sat down unceremoniously on a bench and crossed her legs. She adjusted her glasses, and looked curiously around, keeping her wand at hand and her (at the moment, unmoving) quill and notepad on the bench beside her.
[ooc: So very open to anyone. Come bug her. Pun intended, if you know the fandom.]

"Hello, there," she called out. "How are you? I was wondering if you could tell me where I am? My apparition skills are just a smidge rusty - I'm used to travelling in style, if you know what I mean - and I'm not entirely sure I'm in the right spot.
On the bench beside her, the quill had sprung to life, and was poised over the paper.

Either Before or After Eighth
"Another new face in town," he muses. "Hmm."
Altering his course, he walks over toward the bench, stopping again a respectful distance from and smiling. "Good afternoon, my dear. Newly arrived?"

"Rita Skeeter. And you say you're a student?" One thin brow raised imperceptibly. "Any interest in journalism, by chance?"

There seemed to be a surplus of fair-haired women in the quaint hamlet of Fandom, though none could hope to compare to the charms and grace of the esteemed and modest Ms Skeeter....

She took the long way through the park and noticed the woman on the bench with a quill and notepad.

Her quill began to zigzag across the page again, and Rita called out, "Hello there."
