[I have the best employees! I can disappear for days at a time, without telling a soul where I'm headed, and they still come in to work! *spontaneously creates "Best Employees" award and gives it to my employees*]

[OOC: Woot! Best Employees Award! *dances with award*]

She wanders around the Shop, cooing for the angel and looking utterly lost. This place was confusing, and she couldn't understand her deep desire to go sulk.

Noticing the boy in the Shop, she stops and stares, blinking slowly.

"Coorrooo? Dadda coo?"

Marty looked up from his busy disorganization to see...

Well whatever that was.

"Uh... hi."

She brings her hand up, bending her fingers slowly ina wave. "Coo."

She moves toward him, her tiny pink forked tongue flicking out rapidly. She tips her head to the side and looks confused. "Coorrooo? Dadda?"

Maia came into the shop, a bag of gummie bears in her hand, she knew Aziraphale was not in but she wanted to pick up a book anyhow. Maia stops short seeing the little girl. "Hello." She said in a soft voice the little girl or angel whatever she was seemed a little upset about something.

So many people came here. Maybe the angel was active in the world. She cocked her head, appraising this unusual girl. "Crrooo." A slow smile spread across her face.

Maia returned the smile and bit her lip "Are you an angel like Aziraphale?" She said looking at the girls wings. Maia glanced down at her gummie bears and held the bag out to the girl "Would you like a gummy bear?"

Unusual indeed to grasp what she and Aziraphale were and...ooh...candy! Her eyes light up and she snatces the bag, reaching inside. "Coorrooo!!"

Maia laughed at the little girl's enthusiasm. "Aziraphale isn't here.." Maia said thinking outloud not really questioning it. "My name's Maia." Maia blushed slightly knowing the girl could not talk obviously but perhaps there was something she would like Maia to call her. "What's your name?"

Her mouth stuffed with gummi bears, she chews and swallows before beginning to chatter.

"Corroooo, coo coo croo cac cac dadda. Cac cooroo. Dadadadada cac cac coo."

She knows the girl can't understand her, so she walks over and picks up a Bible and flips it open, pointing to a single word.

Magdalene

"Magdalene." Maia said cocking her head at the girl and smiling "Well that fits you beautifully I think. Well Magdalene, its very nice to meet you." Maia blushed again and then said "Forgive I never thought to ask Aziraphale this but does, well does God name you? or do you pick it out yourself? You can like scowl at me if you think I am asking to many questions I just, well I've only ever seen Aziraphale and Crowley and well, Mr. Crowley isn't exactly like Aziraphale. I mean I don't speak to him really at all. He scares me a little and I promised C.J. and Paige that I wouldn't."

She smiles at all the questions. Beginning with the first one, she looks up and points. "Coo."

Maia grinned "Thats what I thought." Maia sat down "Is it true, in the halls of heaven that all the souls waiting to come down to earth and be born are waiting? Are you really old like Aziraphale?"

"Crrroooo." She shakes her head, slows, and then shakes her head again. She has no idea how to explain what she knows the girl wants to know...not so she can understand it. She reaches in for more gummi bears instead.

Maia handed her the bag "You can keep them, I've more in my room back at the school." Maia tilted her head "Its kinda hard to not have people understand you, to have conversations I mean. Its ok though, when I came back a few years ago; I didn't talk for a while and then when I finally did it just scared people." Maia shrugged and took a gummy bear from the bag she had just given Magdalene. "Aziraphale understands you though, I can see him talking to you." Maia said bitting the head off her gummy bear.

She nods emphatically, agreeing with everything the girl is saying. Her fingers twitch rapidly, and she begins to bounce in place.

Maia watches the girl bouncing, "Are you ok?" Maia is a little nervous because if the girl needs something she is not sure she will be able to 'see' what she needs.

The gummi bears are gone and she's nearly vibrating. Smiling broadly, she hops around and around Maia, making a cacophonous racket that could be a song.

"Cac cac cac coo, cac cac cac coo, cac cac cac coo, cac cac cac!" over and over again.

Maia turns around and around looking amused at Magdalene for a moment, she listened to the sounds Magdalene made and then repeated them back to her very slowly stumbling over some of the 'words'"Cac cac cac coo, cac cac cac coo, cac cac cac coo, cac cac cac. What does it mean? Its really pretty, is it a song?"

Nodding and bouncing, she hops around the Shop. "Cac cac cac coo! Cac cac cac COO!!!"

Moving to the center of the lounge where there is room, she begins to spin.

Maia laughed in spite of herself, there was nobody in the shop with them so she followed Magdalene and started to spin with her laughing.

She spins, faster and faster, until she falls down laughing. Her laugh is an entirely familiar rasping hiss...unsettling coming from a joyful little girl angel.

Maia stopped laughing and looked at Magdalene, she was dizzy for a minute so it took her a second to get Magdalene in focus. She had heard that laugh before, coming from Crowley. Maia swallowed hard, her face paling a little as she looks around half expecting Crowley to appear. "Magdalene..." Maia whispered, her voice sounding stricken, "Are you...are you a-a demon as well as an angel?"

The raspy giggles fade away and she sits up straighter, shaking her head hard back and forth. "Cooroo!"

Standing, she begins to spin again.

Maia grinned in relief and laughed as Magdalene went to spin again "I think I'll sit this spin out sweetheart, to many gummy bears I think. Though I'll bring you some the next time I see you if you'd like?"

"Croo! Croo! Croo!" she hops in a circle, completely wired. Almost as suddenly as it came on, it wears off, and she climbs up beside the girl, and plays with the ends of her hair.

Maia smiled at her chuckling "Sugar rush huh?" She put her arm around Magdalene in a friendly manner. "I'll take you down to the beach when it gets warmer for a picnic. Would you like that?"

((OOC: have to go to bed now, Magdalene is adorable))

She cuddles in softly against the girl, twirling a lock of hair around her finger. "Coo. Cooroo." She nods softly, then points at the fireplace, where a crackling blaze rises up. Snuggled close, she purrs and dozes off.
