The Park, early evening

GOB knew that the days of the stage magician were numbered, so he was trying to diversify his act. Therefore, he was going to try his hand at being a street magician. There may have been portable speakers sitting on his Segway attached to an iPod that just so happened to be playing "The Final Countdown" on repeat.

This was obviously going to go extremely well.

Having slept off most of the pain he'd endured during the early workout, John takes a leisurely walk into town, passing through the park on the way.

And then there's "The Final Countdown" blaring on speakers and John remembers that from an 80's station he used to listen to.

"Dude, is that Europe?" John decides to ask.

"Why, yes, it is, friend," GOB said. He clapped his hands together and a puff of smoke appeared. GOB brought his cupped hands closer to John and said, "Take a look."

Peering down into GOB's cupped hand, John's not quite sure what he's seeing. "That's not alive, is it?"

"It sure is, friend. Why it's a - OW! OW! OW!" GOB yelled as he pulled his hands away, revealing a dove who promptly flew off. "Freaking bird!"

John tries not to laugh, he really does. And he fails miserably.

"Dude, might wanna get checked out for bird flu? Them birds are lethal these days."

"First that damn duck, now this," GOB said. "Stupid birds."

"Getting this checked out probably wouldn't be a bad idea, actually. You never know what kinds of diseases those things carry." GOB held his hand, checking it for disease. No, he wouldn't be able to see the disease. That didn't stop him from trying, though.

"Oh, hey, the name is GOB Bluth, Master of Illusions. Catch me at Caritas, every Friday night."

"John Crichton, student. I'll have to stop in." He makes to offer his hand but pulls it away. "Just in case the bird flu is contagious. Better luck next time with animals, dude."
